    Compact multiport USB hub

posted by Bisqwit on 01/13/2014 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This USB hub fits in small space, which is very good. The actual ports can be turned away from the cylinder which is a definite help if you use oddly shaped USB devices.
    Cons:
Does not have a power supply option. You're limited to the power that you get from the source USB port, which then gets divided...

Very slick and nice 3x3 cube.

posted by Bisqwit on 01/13/2014 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This cube is easy to turn and cuts corners very well. It does not really need any additional lubrication to it. Pieces do not fall off; in fact it is rather difficult to take the cube apart even if one wants to. No stickers to fall off. The instruction book...
    Cons:
Sometimes when you try to turn a layer, if some layer is not properly oriented, some other layer may try to turn instead. This ...

    Very cold colors

posted by Bisqwit on 12/08/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Low-power LED lighting that fits in the E27 socket. It can be directed towards working area; power is not spent in illuminating the backside.
    Cons:
For room lighting, this won't be very helpful, unless you combine it with lights of different spectrum. The color of the light ...

Small size, nice color light, good light quantity

posted by Bisqwit on 12/08/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
The light appears to be slightly dimmer than a 28 Watt incandescent light, but not by large amount. I suspect it compares to a 20-25W lamp. The color produced by the light bulb is pleasant. The individual LEDs appear to produce a good amount of light; they ...
    Cons:
It warms up a little. It is not firmly affixed. If you attempt to screw/unscrew it holding from the lighting surface, sooner or...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Very nice multimeter. - The instruction booklet that comes with it is not very long, but it has sufficiently English instructions that are understandable and clear. - The device is powered by a single 9V battery. - DC & AC voltage, capacitance, resistan...
