    Pros:
    - Somewhat cheap - Impossible to find at local shops here - The cable is not terribly thin - It's 24 pins (20 pins would be useless) - It's sure that 30cm will fit and exceed your need.

    - It works great on Windows with GeForce drivers, so I can guess that it really packs a legitm nvidia GPU on it. - The price is around what an entry-level card like gt950 is around some places.

    - It's cheap and work on nonstandard (with standard I meant OBD-2) protocols adopted by GM/Opel. - Comes with software. - Often you'll have to pay more just to let someone use a similar device on your car ONCE.

    - It's fully compatible with arduino. - Comes with everything that you'll need to start. (i.e. the board and a usb a-b cable) - FT232 IC is included, not the atmega serial. (Which is good for some, bad according to others)
