    -Inexpensive SATA and eSATA USB connector. -Makes hard disks usable on laptops that do not have the SATA or eSATA connectors. -Speed, although limited by the USB standard, is OK. -No driver needed or problems encountered on most computers (see cons).

    -Much smaller than any other car USB connectors I have seen. It is barely bigger than the car plug. -Provides 1000 mA. -Can charge a wide variety of devices, a must if you carry electronics with you.

    -Used with Sony DCR-SR45. -Provides close to 400 minutes of recording time. -Similar products costs 75$ at local retailer for the battery only. -Charger works on par with original Sony.
