    Pros:

    Pros:
Great shape size and screen. Easy to use and very intuative. The price is awesome for a phone of this capacity and capability.

Instructions leave a lot to be desired. Takes a while to set up but once that is done, it works flawlessly. Battery life coul...

    Amazing Light

posted by Clunian on 09/07/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
One of the brightest lights that I have ever owned. Leaves ssc p7 for dead. Incredible throw, lights up possums in trees 200 meters away.
    Cons:
Annoying SOS mode, get rid of it. Also did not work initially, but just needed tightening of emitter module. Very little floo...

    Best Unprotected Battereies on DX

posted by Clunian on 07/15/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Not quite 2600mAh, but pretty darn close to it Measured a consistant 2300 to 2400mAh on my meter which puts them in the elite class for 18650 batteries. Great price for this capacity. I would rate these batteries to be as good or better than the black and r...
    Cons:
None really, work well every time, charge up no problems, seem to last as long or more than dearer ones.

    Great Little Gadget

posted by Clunian on 07/11/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Fantastic gadget for the price, you can't go wrong . Excellent for flower ID, (i am a hortuculturalist) soldering and even removing small splinters which cannot be seen with the naked eye.
    Cons:
None really, except that led could be placed in a better location as the can get obscured by your hand.

    Top of the Tree

posted by Clunian on 07/11/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Incredibally powerful for 1, 18650. Outshines all my other DX flashlights and then some. Can spot a possum in a tree 100 meters away. Have had other xm-l lights but this is at the the top. Awesome light output!
    Cons:
Gets very hot on high mode. Great hand warmer in winter especially when cycling. Get rid of the S.O.S. mode DX, nobody uses it.

    Not Bad But!

posted by Clunian on 07/11/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Easy Mag drop in. Just insulate the original globe holder, stretch the spring and bingo you are done. Improves the original light by a huge factor. Turns the lowly but effective Maglite into a light sabre
    Cons:
Top flange is too thick, needs filing down but still works. Modes dont always work on the Maglite body, must be the switch. Wil...

    One of the Best

posted by Clunian on 05/27/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Great light on AA Batery, Awesome for its size on a 14500. Good Build Quality, Easy to operate switch, and memory. Good feel and size, fits in pocket and hand comfortably.
    Cons:
None to speak of except that you can do away with sos mode which is pretty useless in an urban environment.

    Very Bright

posted by Clunian on 12/21/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Have bought many flashlights from DX and this one is by far the brightest I have used. Very good build quality and just the right amount of modes (3) Strobes are very good for cyclists like me as most cars do not see a bike rider from the front.
    Cons:
None really, slight donut in centre of beam but not annoying. Tends to get hot quickly.
