    Great flashlight - nice finish

posted by DanoRuskie on 03/28/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Unique flashlight for those that have all the basics and are looking for something different - throws like a spot light from a police car - very neat and unusual finish - the pictures don't do it justice - it's not stainless steel or chrome, but it is a kin...
    Cons:
The head of the light is rather big, and the body average sized - would be nice if it had some extension tubes to allow multipl...

    Pros:
Well made strong metal. Cheap. Comes with in a box and with it's own allen wrench...
    Cons:
TOO SMALL for any practical use other than flashlight mounting. I know DX is primarily a flashlight store, not a firearms plac...

    Great little light, but....

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Very small and sturdy, nice little clip, nice semi-cigar style holding ability.
    Cons:
I did not get what is pictured - namely I did not get the insert allowing for AA batteries, so mine is good with CR123 only. T...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
AWESOME, simply awesome - exactly what the doctor ordered. This is a perfect laser aiming device for rifles and carbines. If only my Uzi had a weaver rail. VERY bright, Very easy to see even in daylight. Scared the @#$% out of my neighbor trying it out ...
    Cons:
Only that I didn't buy more than one right off. No cons- adjusts for windage and elevation are very intuitive and easy to use ...

    Very basic, and wrong color..

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Very inexpensive and lightweight. Takes basic cheap AA batteries, has a nice key ring lanyard.
    Cons:
If this is 5 W then I'm 7'7"!! Ha, not quite. This is maybe 30 lumens at best. Also, I ordered the pink one (for my little g...

    very low end

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Very cheap in terms of the package overall. They do throw in an allen wrench at least. The rail itself is just fine and works well.
    Cons:
The mounting hardware included is horrible. It took a huge amount of effort to mount this to an M4 carbine, which is primarily...

    Very versatile

posted by DanoRuskie on 03/09/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Easy to use, automatic rate adjust(measured) as become more charged. Seems to be quite a gentle charger takes a little longer than I first expected but don't mind as always have a spare or two ready charged.
    Cons:
The only con, not that it is a con as such is that you can have the AC cord(US style plug), OR the car cord, no option of both....

    Pros:
Fit multiple flashlights nicely and all with no rattle. Work as advertise and don't get too hot.
    Cons:
None, they are plain Jane, but work as advertised. packaging, while good, left a sticky residue on some of the batteries - noth...

    Great lipstick sized light

posted by DanoRuskie on 03/09/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This stainless steel light is only a bit larger than a tube of lipstick, but it is very bright considering it is using a standard AA battery, and most surprising to me is that it is a great little thrower!!
    Cons:
The threading and waterproofing rings are both on the small size. I don't know is this is avoidable or not given the tiny size...

    Exactly as advertised

posted by DanoRuskie on 03/04/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - Very good build quality - True capacity! measured 2300/2400 mAh - protection works well
    Cons:
None. The protection does mean it is a tight fit in some of the smaller flashlights that can use an 18650, but that's more of ...
