    Great

posted by Dark00 on 02/13/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    - Works great, sucks all the solder - The width of 2.5mm works for both small and large sized solder spots that need to be sucked out - The price is reasonable, the 1.5m should last for quite some time if you are not using it constantly
    Cons:
    - Did not work without adding flux - took me some time to figure that out - While the dispenser/case holds the wire well, the -...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - Looks great - Great build quality; feels sturdy, everything is properly sealed and lubricated - Has "step" zoom-to-throw adjustment (about 21 steps) - Very bright - Very uniform light (no hot spot at all) - Great flooder, the beam diameter is HUGE -...
    Cons:
    - None

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - many different tools useful for DIY soldering - brushes work great for removing corrosion and other residue from PCBs
    Cons:
    - they are most likely not made of stainless steel - brushes will wear out quickly and lose strands - one of the "lifting...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    - large pack - different lengths - the wires work as expected - they work well together with the female-female wires
    Cons:
    - build quality is not very good; while the wires and connections are OK, the plastic holder/protector pieces come off very eas...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - the female adapter is great for using all those DC power adapters you have lying around and are very difficult to connect otherwise. - the male one is great to power the devices with the DC power jack by using batteries or bench power supply - build quali...
    Cons:
    - A bit expensive compared to the separate male and female packs here - Nothing else

    Not 900 lumens

posted by Dark00 on 12/22/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - bright - usable Lo mode; I use the Lo mode indoors as it is bright enough for most things - standard WF-501B host (a bit thinner and lighter than WF-502B, but still quite okay)
    Cons:
    - definitely much much less than 900 lumens - no memory; it either stays on Hi or cycles through the next mode until Hi

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - fun to drive - quite fast - possible to adjust the steering - nice and original package (it was sealed with a bunch of sticky tape though)
    Cons:
    - Wheels slip on smooth surfaces, since the car is so light - Works only on 1.5V AA batteries - mine doesn't work with 1.2V re...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    - It works. After plugging it in, it caught its first mosquito in a couple of minutes - Works even with the angry-type asian tiger mosquitoes
    Cons:
    - Not the best build quality (I had to replaced one of the capacitors as its cover just fell off (same as in the pictures of cu...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - has many features - supports streaming (needs firmware update first) - has PWM on the IR leds - IR illumination works well and is completely usable in complete darkness - has a relay that can be used to switch an external devicde on or off (called "A...
