    Decent Rail for the price

posted by Deathcapt on 05/19/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It's cheaper than comparable rails available around. It's 3 rails, although I'm not sure how many people need 3 rails. Fits very well into ar-15 styled carry handles
    Cons:
Not really any cons, It's tough, although The grooves are a little shallow, I would have preffered a slightly deeper cut in be...

    Does what it says

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
It's cheap, it works. Easy to install. I drilled a hole with a hole saw in my desk and just dropped it in. It wasn't snug but I think that's because My hole saw was a little crappy and made a big hole.
    Cons:
The cable that comes with it is really short like less than a meter, I placed it directly above my tower and it barely reached ...

    So far so good

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
It's a ceramic knife that's relatively inexpensive. Equivalent knives usually cost upwards of $50. It's sharp, it's light, and is comfortable in your hand. The handle gives you a nice solid grip because it's a nice composite material similar to what they...
    Cons:
The blade is a little thick for the size of the knife, and I find it wedges some things. It's sharper than a crappy knife, but...

    Handy little scale

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
It's accurate and compact. Comes with batteries and is very quick and response. You don't have to wait for the scale to settle or adjust. I plan to use mine for making arrows to correct mass, and for cooking.
    Cons:
limited maximum mass only 100 grams, but what can you expect for something so small? AAA batteries suck to replace, would have...

    Good flashlight

posted by Deathcapt on 04/17/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Very bright, Light weight, and portable. This is an extremely bright flashlight for it's size. Good light pattern, the reflector is smooth so you get a nice even light over the pattern as per the images.
    Cons:
Batteries are really expensive if you buy them in stores, thank-god for DX's CR123A, I definitely recommend getting at least a...
