    Great replacement

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Holds charge well. Twice as good as a 2 year old original Samsung battery. Doesn't get hot under heavy use or charging (I have a modded, and sometimes overclocked, CM10 installed on my SGS).
    Cons:
None, really. Especially since looks don't matter (it's not as sleek as the original black / gray one). ;)

    Pros:
Looks pretty nice, for a kitchen utensil. Blade was sharp and cuts well.
    Cons:
After a week there was a 5mm piece missing from the blade; while these are sharp, they are also prone to break if you hit hard ...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
A good fit on the Galaxy S; all mic, speaker, camera, etc cutouts fit perfectly. Nice print, sharp and good quality.
    Cons:
Feels a bit flimsy when you put it on or take it apart. The print, while pretty, is "mirrored" on the front part; th...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Fit well, comes with disposable cleaning cloth. Seem to be scratch resistant.
    Cons:
As hard to put in place properly as the rest of them - you're going to make a bubbly mess some time. ;) But that's not this it...

Perfect fit for the Galaxy S

    Pros:
Nice "fake leather". Very good belt attachment; a clip and a button held "securer". Elastic material at the sides makes sure it can fit a range of phones.
    Cons:
None really. Maybe durability in the long run; cheap fake leather is always, well... "cheap".

    Seem good

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Nice looking, well built. Had a voltage of 1.3-1.35V out of the box when received. First test charge cycle showed 2100-2200mAh charge.
    Cons:
None really - too early to say if these will last well and / or really hold a charge for months on end.

    Cheap and works

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Works flawlessly in my iPhone 3GS (OS 3.x). Looks better connected to a black phone than the standard white cable (vanity thing, I know).
    Cons:
Connector "sticks" to the phone a little harder, and is a bit harder to insert, than the original cable. Still, I don...

    Pros:
Sturdy construction, easy to use, easy to change batteries. Has no extra blink-, etc modes so it's good for "around the home" -use. Belt pouch included.
    Cons:
    Beam not adjustable.

    Good price / performance ratio

posted by DrWeird on 01/25/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Very cheap, compared to other wireless solutions. Picture quality in lighted conditions. Nightvision range (with reservations, look below) Transmission range and clarity. Low power consumption (around 3.5W for the camera (!) and 35W for the receiver). Good,...
    Cons:
Like said in other reviews, you'll lose about 3rd of the view area when it's dark - the IR-leds will cast a halo on the front p...
