Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
The price...every other firesteel i've bought cost about twice as much, for less material. Functionality...it throws a lot of really, really hot sparks. The size. It's easy to hold, and is long enough to throw off a nice trail. Shorter steels don't do a...
    Cons:
The only downside to this product is inherent with all products of this type...the learning curve. People on the internet show ...

    Pros:
The price...you can buy several for the cost of many other companies reflective umbrellas. The functionality. it does the job, well. The size is actually perfect for most of what I want to do with it. It fits inside of the case I have for my light stand,...
    Cons:
No cover...Many other brands provide a black cover to turn it from a shoot through to a reflective umbrella. This does not...yo...

    Pros:
Construction. A lot of these cheep little umbrella holders are mostly plastic. There are some plastic handles on this, but the load bearing portions of this device appear to all be milled aluminum. Range of motion...can't beat it. 360 degrees in two direc...
    Cons:
The handles...Not a big fan of them. If anything is going to fail on this unit, it's those.

    Pros:
It's a no brainier to use. Install the batteries...make sure the switches on both units are set correctly, turn them on, and you're ready to go. The price, like all YN products, cannot be beat. The range is actually quite impressive...I have yet to be i...
    Cons:
They take separate batteries. I'm not a big fan of having to haul around multiple battery types for all of my devices...with YN...

    Pros:
The price...you can't beat it, for a flash unit with this amount of control and light output. You can't find a strobe of this quality for double the price anywhere else. It works well, with very easy to understand controls. You turn it on, it charges, you...
