Cheap sound, but not how you might think.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Great sound for the size of the speakers, and can get pretty loud pretty quickly. Has the ability to project the sound a decent distance. The battery life is much longer than expected with some NiMh rechargeable batteries.
    Cons:
Bit too big to use comfortably with a smaller Mp3 device. Sound does distort when it gets turned up too loud, but there's an ea...

    Pros:
It is a great thing that you get enough in a single purchase to do all ten fingers at once, if you were so inclined. I find these a really great help as I get very stiff fingers when I am doing crafts such as crocheting. These get the blood flowing and allo...
    Cons:
They can come apart. They will come apart. They are easy to put back together, once you figure it out, and as long as you don't...

    Pros:
This is definitely a pocket microscope. It's really small and yet it still manages to be super bright and super powered. We used the box as a 'real precise' test and it was so zoomed in you could see the individual ink dots on it. The case is a nice additio...
    Cons:
You have to be careful, The zoom part extends out and can poke you in the eye if you are to close to it when looking through. I...

    Pros:
It's shaped like a small little fire extinguisher that makes a big 'ol flame. Refillable, and adjustable. It came with a piece of plastic to lock it form being lit. It was a sturdy key ring to keep it wherever you need it.
    Cons:
Mine lit once. Then never again. I opened it to confirm it was sparking, as well I made sure the gas feed was hooked up, and it...

It's like 'cling wrap' for your waist

posted by E_Man on 09/27/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Novice (still getting used to it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It's like 'cling wrap' for your waist. It is definitely much thicker and stronger, and I sure wouldn't use it to protect my food. It sure looks weird wrapped around a waist, all squishing down the belly. Put on a top after you're wrapped up, poof, you're go...
    Cons:
This thing deffinatly restricts movement A BUNCH. It was purchased to 'hide' a bit extra in a Halloween costume while at work. ...

    Pros:
Well, the obvious. It's a nice compact little flashlight, gives off a good amount of light, and uses just a single AA battery. As an added bonus, it includes 4 adapters that work in various electronic devices. If you have a bit of DIY'er in you, (like me) t...
    Cons:
Ok, so there is only 4 adapters with this one. They may not all work for items you have. I also found that not everything would...

    Pros:
Who says it has to hold a flashlight. It could hold anything that size. Mine's holding a flashlight for a Christmas gift. It fits sku 9070 quite well. You can keep using the light with it still in the holster. It has a belt loop on the back and a solid plas...
    Cons:
It could be considered a bad thing because it's a little tight and a little short, but I look at those points in the opposite l...

They interlock to give nice hugs and also take up less space on the table than a normal set. It's a cute attention getter, just like the millions of other shakers out there. This one offers a little more class with a little less kitsh then some of the other...
    Cons:
Sure the green box they come in is ugly, but I don't need the box, I need the shakers. Mine were packed well and intact.

    Cheaper than local

posted by E_Man on 02/14/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
A 10-pack, these go for like $8 EACH local. Sure that's name brand 'watch' battery, but it's the same basic thing. I bought them for a scale that uses 2 at a time. I should be able to use the 10-pack for quite some time. When the time comes, I can buy some ...

Maybe they don't have the same power or life of a brand name dedicated 'watch' battery, but for the price and the amount I'm ge...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Well, they're rechargeable. I know that's why you bought these over a primary, but come one, it's a Pro! Being rechargeable means that they can be used over and over again. The 'Protected' means there's some type of circuit bored so they don't explode? Alri...
    Cons:
Because of the 'protected' nature of the cell, it may be slightly larger than your average store bought brand name equivalent. ...
