    Great little device

posted by Edmund on 12/03/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Has 3 settings. The Access Point (AP) is truly plug-and-play. Just plug it in and you're up and running on the internet before you can say "Supercalifragalisticexpealadocious" :O) Only drawback with the AP is that it is an unsecured connection, so...
    Cons:
The user manual has no mentioning on how to access the setup menu. I had to do some searching on the big, all-knowing WWW to fi...

    Capable contender

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Has GPS. Has TV with built-in extendible antenna. Has an FM receiver, but that needs the headphones cable as an antenna to work. Good battery life.
    Cons:
No support for USB_LAN. Relatively poor image quality on the cameras, but that was expected. All plastic, might break easily. B...

    NOT 2500 mAh

posted by Edmund on 05/30/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Cheap and good quality rechargeable batteries. Have bought several of these packs.
    Cons:
Not the stated capacity. After running the batteries a couple of times through my hi-tech gadget (the Powerex MH-C9000 for tho...

    Great bike computer

posted by Edmund on 11/23/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Large display with lots of information without having to press buttons. Even has temperature and how many calories you have used. :O) Also like the backlight. (Press and hold the two bottom buttons at the same time to turn on or off.)
    Cons:
None so far. Well, maybe the zip ties to fasten it could have been a little stronger, but no big deal.

    Seems to be genuine Sony

posted by Edmund on 10/24/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Very cheap and good batteries. I can buy two packs of these for what I pay for only 1 single battery in my local store. Seems to be genuine Sony batteries. Measured their voltage and came up with these values: 3.38V, 3.13V, 3.11V, 3.30V and 3.20V Bought SK...
    Cons:
    None so far.

Very capable speakers at a reasonable price.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Handy size. Good sound quality for it's size. Built in volume control. I'm using it on my laptop computer, and most of the time I only use about 25% volume and it gives me all the sound I need.
    Cons:
No major ones. Have to have USB-power to work, so not any good on MP3-players unless you have a USB-charger available. The cabl...

    Very capable pen drive.

posted by Edmund on 03/13/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Nice solid build. The cap snaps on with a firm click so it will most likely not come off in your pocket. It feels like the housing is made from aluminium, but I didn't want to scratch it to find out. :) Good size too. Tested it with a 1.72 GB file and got 3...
    Cons:
Nothing bad to say about this one. Only I would have preferred a capless one. (Like SKU 11243.)
