    Very well made

posted by Elmojo on 08/27/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Well made, machined to pretty close tolerances. Nice threaded inner ring to keep the baffle stack snugged up. 6 set screws placed in 2 rings of 120 degrees each (in base cap) allow fine adjustment of centering to barrel.
    Cons:
    - Anodizing is spotty on end cap, not properly protected from corrosion. Not an issue for me, since I'll be painting it anyway....

    Fantastic knife for the money

posted by Elmojo on 09/07/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
+ Nearly identical design and construction to Emerson Commander + handle scales appear to be real G10 phenolic, not cheap plastic. + Functional "wave feature" is really cool, IF you're right-handed. It WILL NOT WORK if you're a lefty. Be warned.
    Cons:
    - Blade steel is certainly not as good as real Emerson - Very stiff liner lock (see 'bottomline' below) - Finish on blade doesn...

    Very nice watch, goofy styling

posted by Elmojo on 05/19/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Beautiful watch, very well made. All joints are tight. -Excellent movement, fairly accurate for a full-mechanical. -Rotating click bezel is a nice touch -Large and heavy, feels very solid
    Cons:
    - FOREMOST CON: The styling of the face numbers is silly. The "12" looks like it belongs in the wrist of the Mad Hatt...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
+ Excellent build quality + Very compact, but BRIGHT + Flexible power options. Accepts AA, 14500, CR123A, CR2 + Mode memory (see cons)
    Cons:
    - Clip not easy to remove, screws break easily - Clip should be oriented so the light hangs lens down - 3-mode. I REALLY wish w...

Best mount on DX for 30mm scopes!

posted by Elmojo on 11/23/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I bought one of these mounts for a Ruger 10/22 build that will be used by a local pest control officer to eliminate problem animals in an urban setting. Having owned MANY scopes and various mounts over the years, I have to say that this is most likely the ...
    Cons:
    - A little pricey, but worth it. - Holes in locking knobs were not cleanly finished, (cosmetic issue only). - Mount is fairly...
