    Check network for raspberry

posted by EnnaN on 01/26/2014 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Bought it for a raspberry Pi project. It fits, it works, it's small, it's cheap. What more do you want? It can be a hassle setting up the wireless, it's true, but that's not this units fault :)
    Cons:
Not much, you could say something silly about it being really small, but seriously, that's not a con. You'll also lose the litt...

    Works as expected

posted by EnnaN on 01/26/2014 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Fits the lens I bought it for, easy to remove and place. Nothing to see that would make this a bad product. Bought it as a spare because I always misplace these, but it's not inferior to the normal lens cap, I even think it is easier to replace. Cheap enou...
    Cons:
No real cons at all. The strap is a bit useless for me, as I honestly don't see how you can take a shot with a lens-cap hanging...

    very usefull little cable

posted by EnnaN on 09/27/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
If you want to charge your phone at work, need to connect your mp3player or basically: if you need to connect a mini-usb device to your computer: this is great! I've got a couple, one in my camera bag, one in my backpack, one at work etc etc. Cheap and usef...
    Cons:
The cable looks kinda small, so the option of it breaking would be there. Haven't broken one yet though, so its just an expecta...

    Does the job

posted by EnnaN on 09/27/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
The standard USB-headset that came with my G1 wasn't really for me: i hate these kinda in-ear things, because they hurt. To be able to listen to music without the headsetthingy, i needed something to go from jack to usb. A cable like this. This one is very ...
    Cons:
Feels a bit cheap/thin in the cable, so it might be breaking anytime.

    Affordable, nice glasses

posted by EnnaN on 09/27/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Needed some affordable glasses because i keep breaking mine. The pouch it comes in might even help me to keep these alive a bit longer, but mostly i'm using them inside a helmet. The rubbery sides are great for that, although in the end most glasses break f...
    Cons:
To bad they're sporting some sort of oakley-like logo: didn't buy them to be fakes of anything, so i don't need that for anythi...

    Exactly what you expect

posted by EnnaN on 09/27/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Perfect as replacement for missing eye-piece. It's not an improvement for a current 'standard' eye-piece, but if you remove the origional and lose it, or if you're just not too carefull when handling your camera you can easily get to be in need of a replace...
    Cons:
No real cons. Fit my 30D perfectly: i think the sizes are quite standard, so there's no big issue here. It feels like it even &...

    plain but good Diffuser Dome

posted by EnnaN on 06/04/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This diffuser dome fits perfectly on the 580EX. The small bend on the upper side is present on the dome, and it doesn't seem to have an inclination to slide off. Diffuses as expected. Doesn't seem to block too much 'extra' light, at least not more then expe...
    Cons:
Not really. Might be a little less sturdy then the official Canon ones, and might block a little more light, but this is hard t...

    Interesting diffuser

posted by EnnaN on 06/04/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Novice (still getting used to it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This definitely changes the flash. When using the standard white glow, the flash is less 'harsh', but there might be less light output ofcourse. It's harder to see in what situations the yellow bowl is used, but that might be a thing you have to learn as a ...
    Cons:
The unit really does smell weird. Maybe its something like plastic 'softeners' that are used, but i do hope this changes overti...

    Good remote

posted by EnnaN on 06/04/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
For situations you have to keep your camera stable (for instance macro-shots) or when you are shooting bulb mode this is a vital tool. It can focus (half-press the button, just like an on-body button), and it has a (mechinacal: lock the button down) feature...
    Cons:
If you are doing self-portraits, Its not a very long cable. Its defenately possible, but you will not be doing big familly port...

    Battery holders

posted by EnnaN on 06/04/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
When transporting batteries there is always the off-chance that they will short circuit. Besides that, a heavy drop on the + side of a battery 'breaks' the connection inside, leaving the battery useless. Transporting them in an enclosure like this makes sur...
    Cons:
Enclosing your batteries in a casing like this does take up some space. My compact camera could just hold 4 spare batteries in ...
