Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This item allows you to connect a variety of USB devices easily. It is great to carry with a laptop just in case. It can replace several other USB cables and/or adapters. Supports most common USB port types you will encounter. It is pretty cheap.
    Cons:
Extension cable has thin, cheap wiring. It will break easily. The other connectors on the star attachment can get in the way wh...

    Pros:
This is a great USB serial port as a very low price. It is pretty much as good as any other USB-to-serial converter you'll come across. It can allow newer computers to interface older technology. Worked for me even on Linux machines. Includes a USB extensio...
    Cons:
I can't really think of anything big, although it does feel slightly cheaper than other converters I have used before.

    Pros:
It is not a bad little sound card, and it is dirt cheap. Can be useful if you need a soundcard and don't won't to dish out a lot of money. It is tiny as well.
    Cons:
This device only support mono input. It is not in any way a top-of-the-line soundcard.

    Pros:
It works. It is a decently priced USB Ethernet card, and can come in handy.

    Pros:
This cable is small and portable, and provides a way to carry an ethernet network cable without using up too much storage space. The price is great.
    Cons:
Spring-loaded roll-up mechanism is sensitive and can be accidentally broken and/or misaligned. Cable wiring does not seem to be...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This makes a great toy. Also, it's UV light has many other uses once the ink runs out. Ink is invisible on most surfaces.
    Cons:
Ink doesn't as long as a typical pen. Ink is visible on some surfaces. Button design is horrible.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Easy and quick programming. Useful for an at-home remote, an on-the-go remote, and even a prank remote. Small and portable.
    Cons:
Small size means smaller buttons than I would like. Doesn't work with every TV.
