    It Resonates

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Sturdy build quality, cables are OK as well. It turns almost any surface into a speaker! Makes you look at packaging in a whole new way... Milk cartons, tissue boxes and even the takeaway food containers become sound systems!! Even has a sound/volume act...
    Cons:
Not really cons, but: Looks nothing like a speaker so it might confuse grandparents. No volume control incorporated into the ...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
If you can read the description you know what it is, and being it comes with a battery, one should go hmmmm.... Interesting. It's just so simple and functional, the 4 led provide all the light needed to navigate around a house or backyard without needing t...
    Cons:
None that I can see. wouldn't mind seeing the 'head' as a separate SKU, I'm guessing that would put it around the $2 mark, and...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Really nice flashlight form factor for using/holding (projecting button prevents tail standing though) The warm MCE is a pleasing tint (although it's a little pinker than incandescent, more like a sunset when a bush fire is burning) P60 drop in is removabl...
    Cons:
None really, o-rings came in good nick, were they should be, came lubed, glass lens could be cleaner yada yada yada...

    Decent unit

posted by FunAndGames on 09/28/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Pocket sized so no excuse for not having it with you Decent materials choice, app plastics in the right places. Includes a little rubber 'finger grip pad' (not shown in the original product images) at the kink in the metal frame, protects the finish of the ...
    Cons:
None at this stage, could be a little cheaper, as there's not much to it.

    Great for the price

posted by FunAndGames on 02/19/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Good solid build quality, will be adaptable to 99% of electronic flash guns. Attaches to standard light stand spigot fitting, quick to put together. The tilt function is very positive and lockable, quite adjustable.
    Cons:
Fabric is a bit thin and it would be nice if it was a few inches bigger. Adding an adapter for a normal tripod fitting would ma...

    Great general use flashlight

posted by FunAndGames on 02/19/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Has more than enough light to be impressive! The 3 power levels are nicely spaced and low is low but still very useful. Solid construction, I've dropped it once and although it did mark the head, the light didn't skip a beat. One of my 'go to' lights. Small...
    Cons:
    None really

    Works Great!!

posted by FunAndGames on 02/19/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Good construction. A sturdy body with solid switches, simple and easy to use controls. Easy to refill with lighter gas. And has a stable flame at most settings. Built in stand means it wont damage surfaces as it cools.
    Cons:
The on off switch was slightly 'out' when received, it was an easy fix (making sure it was empty of gas), and has been working ...

    Copies Old Drives

posted by FunAndGames on 11/22/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Novice (still getting used to it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Gave me the opportunity to copy a 7 year old drive that hadn't been turned on for over 4 years. Just unplugged the drive from the old computer and plugged this unit in. No need for extra drivers on XP machine.
    Cons:
Seems to be a very fragile connection sometimes. In copying large chunks of data (8+GB) or more, the drive connection would 'd...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Super bright on high, and a very usable light on low. The SOS (for those who care)is a genuine dot dot dot, dash dash dash, dot dot dot, not the easy out ...---...---... format Switch is deep enough to tail stand (with a little wobble) Warms up so I imagin...
    Cons:
Has memory for last mode used but, seems to need the last mode to be left on for a second or two before it will remember it, o...
