    Quit usefull, good torch!

posted by Gcharger on 03/06/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Easy to use. Also easy to fill, very straight forward. Has different options like length of flame which you can choose from jet or just yellow flame. It has a pedestole so you can put in on "lock" and use both hands for instants with soldering. Go...
    Cons:
None, really. Build is ok, could be a bit better.

    Nice bright yellow light

posted by Gcharger on 03/05/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Bright yellow light, looks really nice. Easy to install, if it won't light up the first time, put in the other way around (reverse polarty). All the light shines in one direction, so it's ideal for use as sidemarkers or indicator lights at the side of the car.
    Cons:
Live span of these units is not everything, already had to change one up front. As side indicator lamps, they do alright.

    Not all that bright

posted by Gcharger on 03/05/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Easy to use, just pop out your old incandescent lamp and these in. Saves power.
    Cons:
They don't last for long. I bought several sets for different purposes, one set is totally bust. First they start flickering, t...

Good deal for a four pack

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Easy to use, got a good price. I'm using a Ultrafire WF-138 charger, which has a auto-off function. So the fact that these batteries are "unprotected" is no issue if your using this charger.
    Cons:
None really. 880 mAh Is a bit on the optimistic side but this is also mentioned in the header.

Incredible storm of bright white light!

posted by Gcharger on 03/03/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Like the title says: huge amounts of white bright light. It has a easy to use clicky swith at the back. You can select two different brightness levels and one flickering mode. You can use four or even three CR 123A batteries. When using three, just remove a...

    Powerhouse

posted by Gcharger on 03/03/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Good build quality, easy to use. Works excellent with the Ultrafire WF-138 (SKU 1236). Bought these for my "old fashion" LED flashlight. Works perfect, full light as long as possible and then a sudden drop: empty. Just what they supposed to do.
    Cons:
The strange thing is, that in the specifications is mentioned that these batteries are 1000 mAh but I got 880 mAh. Not a big de...

Not bright enough for brake light usages

posted by Gcharger on 03/02/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Real easy to install, pop out your old incandescent lamp and replace with the LED. Will work with reverse polarity.
    Cons:
There not all that bright, which is a shame because I ordered other LED units which also weren't bright. So I set all my hopes ...

Easy to use, small charger for CR 123A batteries

posted by Gcharger on 03/02/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Easy to use and small charger. Has a little switch on the side for selection 3.0 or 3.6 volt. Also a big plus is that it charges your batteries in one to one and a half hour.
    Cons:
None concerning the charger. It would be handy to included a European plug ino the package.

Enormous amounts of white bright light

posted by Gcharger on 03/01/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Just unbelievable that such a little pocket flashlight can bring you so much light. Uses just one CR 123A battery, the rechargables from Ultrafire are an option. Won't go on accidentally, it has a "turn on" switch.
    Cons:
    None, it's just great.
