posted by GeneralSpecifik on 10/17/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Works on a good majority of TVs that I tried it on Comes with a battery, so that's an extra value fits on a keychain
    Cons:
It does not work on all TVs, so you may be out of luck if you have some odd TV. I also found that I didn't use it all that much...

    Pros:
This will keep your smokes in solid shape, and keeps one less extra thing out of your pocket (a lighter!). Plus, the classy look makes for an interesting conversation piece.
    Cons:
It doesn't hold a full pack of cigarettes, but maybe that's not a con if you're trying to quit? :)

    It's worth the $6

    Pros:
flings rocks and whatnot quite readily. You can also harvest the surgical tube if you'd like and use it for other purposes. It has a sort of form-fitting grip.
    Cons:
wrist brace isn't the greatest quality - sort of a thin material, and I'm not too keen on how it was sewn.

A good deal when it works

    Pros:
A good introductory helicopter for the beginning pilot, because it can't really do too much damage to the surroundings.
    Cons:
The counterbalance (or upper rotors, I think) is not terribly effective, and it was difficult to get it balanced. That is, when...

    Just OK for me

posted by GeneralSpecifik on 10/17/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It looks nice and stylish, and has a solid chrome finish. It will fit right in with all of your keys on that huge keyring of yours.
    Cons:
The O-ring on my lighter fell apart almost straightaway. All of the lighter fluid I put in just evaporated away, so it didn't l...

    Best ~$4 I've spent in a while

    Pros:
Wow! The sound quality of these headphones is quite nice. The bass response is on par with the $30 Sony earphones I bought a while ago, and the treble is of course clear. Fantastic for travel, because if you lose them, just buy some more! They won't break, ...
    Cons:
The included extra silicon thingers weren't of any use to me. I suppose that I could be worried about the long 3.5mm insert, bu...

good grief, lots of tiny dice!

posted by GeneralSpecifik on 10/17/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Man, I swear if you need a bunch of tiny dice, this is it! There are a bunch of customer pictures so you can see yourself, but I was definitely surprised on their size. Multicolored too.
    Cons:
Not so much of a con, as their size is why you buy them, but they are small enough to lose quite easily. Some of them aren't pr...

    Pros:
It's a good buy if you're always wearing a hat, and need a good light to see what's going on.
    Cons:
I am somewhat concerned with the type of plastic that makes up the clips - I think it will break if you have to repeatedly take...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I found the optical tracking to be surprisingly good on this mouse. The small form factor also plays a role, too. It fits quite nicely in my laptop backpack.
    Cons:
Somewhat difficult to position so that the optical sensor can track whatever surface you're using I found it difficult to use t...

    Cheap, but still high quality!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I have used man, many different types of network crimp plugs over the years, and these are just as good as the more expensive ones I have used in the past. They have the little "guide rails" as you insert the cables - very useful for the "loo...

    I didn't buy more!
