Isolation worked well but not great.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Liked the multiple ear size plastic gromits. This allowed custom fit. The wire cover to these items was a woven plastic braiding. This would normally make the item very resistant to pulling damage. See other thoughts for expanded thoughts on this.
    Cons:
Music quality was fine but wasn't up to the stand of other items on this site.

    Pros:
Clips clip... grab and hold. Soldered easily.
    Cons:
Soft plastic cover was difficult to peal back and forth during soldering. But not a big problem because once you have soldere...

    Pros:
Braided copper wire. As stated in the description.... that is accurate.
    Cons:
Just didn't do the job that it is supposed to do. I did say at the beginning I am a novice user in this area. I generally just ...

    Pros:
I am not a electronics person but I fiddle. These were great to allot me to build some testing equipment that is still going strong after a couple of years. So you could say the item is very durable.
    Cons:
The plastic sleave is difficult to peal back when you are soldering the clips into place. When you have soldered the item the p...

    LOVE THEM.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I have bought multiple versions of this item. I use them to death and then replace. The isolation from the environment works well. Then fit deep inside your ear canal and allow you to turn down the music to very low volumes and thus same battery life on pow...
    Cons:
NONE. And I mean none. The build quality is great. The sound quality is great. The item lasts a long time.

    Pros:
Plug...play. No special software required. Pretty simple operation. (If you are a pull it apart and get yours hands dirty type of person.)
    Cons:
Requires some technical knowledge. Have you replaced a hard drive in a PC? Or a broken DVD or CD player? If so then congrates y...

    Cheap. Good for beginners.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Cheap replacement. The sound quality isn't quite right. The quality isn't as good as expensive strings but for beginners learning to tune and are very likely to snap the strings from tightning them too much.
    Cons:
A expert guitarist probably wouldn't be interested in these due to the sound quality.

    Older style digital heart sensor.

    Pros:
Works a treat. Cheap compared to buying a spare from the local fitness equipment warehouse. They wanted 10 time the price. I think the price DX has for the item is spot on for the item.
    Cons:
    None.

    Pros:
Works well in a nokia and S2. The procduct seems to work in any phones that have a mic and headset as the normal headset. If you look at the picture you will see the plug for the item has 4 sections. Most modern phones seem to have this setup for the hands-...
    Cons:
The build quality was a bit off. Needed to make a small repair on the unit. Particularly to the microphone section. Required so...

    Great bunch of picks

posted by Grantly on 11/21/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
The come in many colours. They are different thicknesses. The middle of the range thickness that seems to be more commonly used are the majority of the picks.
    Cons:
They are small and easy to loose. Because they are cheap, kids aren't careful so they misplace them. But they aren't the fault ...
