Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Simple light that works as expected. Starts instantly. Looks fantastic inside a nice diffuser. Doesn't get too hot even when fully encased in an environmentally sealed light enclosure. I don't find the dimensions too bad - seems to fit in most enclosures I ...
    Cons:
Poor power factor (about 50%) thought this might be typical of most cheap LED's. This means that if you are charge for VA inste...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Nice bright light. Swivel works ok. Power regulator is ok. The use of through hold LED's means no exposed pads. It doesn't get unbearably hot even after running for extended periods of time. Recommended light source.
    Cons:
Poor power factor (about 50%) though this seems to be typical for cheap LED lights.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Nice bright white light. Works well as designed. Base swivels. Regulator design is ok. PCB design means that if one LED dies the rest will continue to function ok (rather than taking down an entire string)
    Cons:
For some units I have pulled apart one of them had a screw penetrating the live wire. Not a huge problem with a plastic case, b...

    Pros:
Very solidly build. Has a nice feel to it! Nice strong light beam produced. Has a great power factor when compared to other LED lights I have tested (this one is arond 90% PF which is excellent) In my testing it didn't get excessively hot.
    Cons:
Due to it's weight mine arrived with a crushed E27 connector despite the protective cardboard cone that was supposed to protect...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Cheap little lux meter works as described. Comes in a nice padded carry case and has a protective lid for the sensor. I'm not sure about the accuracy/calibration of the unit, but for relative measurements it works great. It appears quite sensitive too so th...
    Cons:
No cons that I have noticed. Everything just works as it should

    Pros:
Warm light output is nice. Appears very solid. The internal power rectifier looks ok. Looks to be around 380 lumen (though I haven't measured it) about the same as a 60W bulb.
    Cons:
LED PCB and heatsink weren't connected with heat transfer compound. Lens glued on sloppily. Power factor is pretty poor (around...

    Works well in Australia

    Pros:
My chipset was the AF9015. Works well under windows, research suggests it should work great under linux too (yet to try). The included software seems to work well too.
    Cons:
Unable to find updated driver online - I tend not to trust that the supplied CD is up to date. (Though it might very well be) A...
