Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Very easy to install the harddisk in the enclosure, i havent' even looked at the instructions. Even the screwdriver is included, so you can begin installing it without loosing more time searching for the right srewdriver. Data transfer is much faster than w...
    Cons:
The USB cable is only 50cm long (short), and the power cable on the adapter plug is also very short (80cm).

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Bright on a nimh, even brigher on lithium-ion. Comes with clip and lanyard, tailcap is magnetic, it sticks to any iron surface (can be very handy). Build quality is very good for this price.
    Cons:
Don't really like the high/mid/strobe, it should have been high/mid/low (if there was a strobe, it should be in de hidden modes...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Very bright. Memory mode works perfect. Not driven to the maximum of the led, for me that's better than full power (= 3A) with a greater risk for overheating and even overloading the lithium-ion battery (that is also dangerous). Fast strobe = really fast...

    Lightweight, compact and very bright

posted by Hobbyfotograaf on 11/11/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This is a very compact and lightweigt flashlight, and it is very bright. Only 100 grams with a 18650 battery, the stainless steel Ultrafire c3 with a 14500 inside is just 4 grams lighter. The P10 is larger than the C3, but with a bigger battery it will las...
    Cons:
There is only one con, and that is the doughnut ring in the "hotspot". If the beam was better, this would have been a much bet...

    Very bright

posted by Hobbyfotograaf on 06/05/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This flashlight is very bright. It is brighter than the Ultrafire C1 R5 5-mode. With a fresly charged 18650 it is almost as bright as the MTE SSC P7.
    Cons:
The trustfire 18650 2500mAh protected fits too tight in the battery tube, it is very difficult to get it out...

    Pros:
Very bright with Nimh, much brighter then Akoray and the standard Ultrafire C3. Modes werk perfectly, i like the mode memory so the light always comes on in the last used mode.
    Cons:
I bought seven of these (gifts), all were working perfectly, but one died because the owner dropped it on the floor (have to ch...

Very bright replacement for Bike light

posted by Hobbyfotograaf on 02/05/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
I bought three of these to replace te leds of the bike-lights (sku18307). The original leds were blue, and not very bright. Simply replacing the original leds with these XR-E R2 leds makes these bikelights very bright (and white instead of blue).
    Cons:
No cons, these are just perfect.

    Pros:
Very bright. Two usefull levels, high is very bright, low is bright enough for indoor and givers long runtime. I haven't used it with lithium-ions, it is bright enough on Nimh. It is a present for my girlfriend, and that is why i prefer the safer Nimh b...
