    Quality may vary

posted by JFord on 10/17/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Easy to understand interface, handy to keep in your pocket, a great little gadget to just have hanging around. I went hiking with some friends who had forgotten their camera, I lent them one of these and they had no problems using it within a minute. The bo...
    Cons:
It seems the build quality can vary - this might not be a problem for most people, but I was planning to build a stereo camera ...

    The best I've found

posted by JFord on 10/17/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
If you want a pair of round lensed sunglasses, these are the ones. Usually, round glasses tend to have the lenses quite closely spaced, which can give the wearer a strange cross-eyed look - these ones are visually well balanced. As for build quality, I've h...
    Cons:
If you haven't worn round glasses before, be prepared for light to leak in at the sides. Also, the hard case they came with mig...

    Needs fixing

posted by JFord on 03/25/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It looks and feels great, a bizzare rubbery lump that fits the hand surprisingly well.
    Cons:
The tube inside that holds the pen workings in place was faulty - from what I can see it was meant to have a pinch to stop the ...

    Nice for the price

posted by JFord on 03/09/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
The video quality is surprisingly good and it can double as a thumb drive. I keep mine in my bag most of the time and despite some hard wearing it seems to be holding up pretty well.
    Cons:
The camera came with no instructions and it took me quite a while to work it out as the pen has quite a delay before anything h...

    Much nicer

posted by JFord on 03/09/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
The colours are much, much nicer - as I'm sure you noticed. The 6300 seems to be a pretty popular phone so it's nice to have something that sets mine aside a little and make it easier to pick when it's sitting next to my girlfriend's.
    Cons:
It came with no installation instructions and if the faceplate from my phone hadn't been falling off I wouldn't have had much o...

    Save your hands

posted by JFord on 03/09/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
These are great hand savers - get away from the annoyingly small DS standard stylus and onto these nice long ones. The styluses (stylii?) collapse telescope style to fit in the standard spot. They seem quite strong too, holding up well to all the normal rig...
    Cons:
The chrome where the stylus telescopes is worn, but it really doesn't matter. The metal is a weird touch that doesn't quite sui...

    Plain cute.

posted by JFord on 03/09/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
The design of this is quite nice - very cute. I bought one for my girlfriend to put on her desk at work and she was pretty happy with it.
    Cons:
The flower isn't attached when it arrives and I had to do a bit of filing and adjusting to get it to fit in the slot due to som...

    Simple compass

posted by JFord on 03/09/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This is just a simple compass - it's reasonably strong, reasonably accurate and reasonably priced. If you want a compass, you could do a lot worse.
    Cons:
It would be nice if it came with a small pouch or even had a hole so it could be attached to some string - unless you have a sp...

    Evil watch

posted by JFord on 03/09/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
This is a nice watch, really nice. The first thing I noticed was the weight - it was heavier than I expected and feels quite solid. Not only that, but it seems fairly well made - there were no 'tags' left over from moulding the wrist band for example. The ...
    Cons:
The stainless back plate is scratched and dented, which is a little weird...I can't see how it would have happened, but it does...

    I'm sure it's useful

posted by JFord on 09/09/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
The design is very comfortable, it sits well in the palm of your hand with the button just under your thumb. Using it is very simple as you'd expect and combined with the surprisingly nice action makes it second-nature to use.
    Cons:
The main body is metal, but the base is plastic. If you screwed it to a surface, I doubt the plastic would hold up for long.
