Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Good build quality... the battery clicks in place, very close to an actual d size battery
    Cons:
Would be nice to fit more than one battery in the casing at a time, no closure at the bottom which limits its compatiblity

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Very affordable, works many different types and shapes of batteries, compact, lightweight, and an lcd screen that gives you the actual voltage as opposed to a color indicating replace/low/good.
    Cons:
hard to gripe about much considering the price, it's a bit flimsy, and once the lcd screen does go out its trash

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Inexpensive, build quality is up to par, serves an underrated purpose, inexpesnsive,
    Cons:
How both inputs were decided to be painted yellow is baffling. Sure, you can find cheap ways to label each input yourself, but ...

Nice while it lasted, which wasn't very long

posted by JordanMatthew on 02/01/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Cheap, worked well with all devices, small, compact, attractive.... a lot more practical and sensible than some of the bigger ones
    Cons:
Only lasted about 3 weeks before it wouldn't charge any devices. No idea why... so other than that I can't think of anything ba...

Does the job for a fraction of the price

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
At the time I bought it, costs about a third of the price of the 1st party Xbox cable. It upconverts your dvds to HD Quality. VGA is just a little more pleasing on my eyes than component video.
    Cons:
The plastic is quite cheap. The digital optical audio output on it slightly chipped early and cause the optical cable not to lo...

Probably best to avoid this if you have Windows 7

posted by JordanMatthew on 01/31/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Build quality is nice, the small size is convenient, no external power adapter required, bundled software is above average, worked with all four video capture software programs on my computer
    Cons:
Plenty... audio is horrible, it took a lot of work and time to get my computer to completely recognize the device (driver on so...
