    A Fast SDHC Reader/Writer

posted by Joseph on 05/08/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This card reader is fairly fast reading and writing to SDHC and microSDHC at least up to 16GB Class 10, which data transfer rates are comparable to those of SKU:6858 (that I received in November 2008 and January 2009). I did not have a 32GB SDHC on hand to...
    Cons:
The build quality is mediocre. The end caps would not securely stay in place. Unlike SKU:6858, the end cap cannot be replaced...

    Does the Job!!

posted by Joseph on 07/29/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Big, clear sound from a small speaker system powered by two AAA batteries. I purchased it to use with an Asus Eee PC 1000E netbook which built-in speakers have low volumes. It does the job. Also, it is handy for occasional music sampling from portable de...
    Cons:
It takes two AAA batteries that are drained fairly quickly. When the battery power is low, the sound becomes noisy, muffled an...

    Small and fragile

posted by Joseph on 02/21/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
The physical size is small though it is not the smallest microSDHC reader that DX offers. It reads and writes microSD and microSDHC up to at least 8GB (I don't have any card above 8GB to test). It accepts and ejects various brands of microSDHC cards smoot...
    Cons:
It would break apart easily with a little external pressure and thus be unsuitable for key chain.

    It works as desired

posted by Joseph on 02/07/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It converts the stereo audio output from a 3.5mm headphone jack to the RCA audio inputs of a receiver. The cable does not seem to introduce electrical noises.
    Cons:
The cables to the Red and White connectors appear quite fragile, much thinner than those from a regular Red/White RCA audio cab...

Good Quality mini-HDMI to HDMI Cable

posted by Joseph on 02/07/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
The cable appears heavy duty, well made with nylon cloth covering. It transfers audio, video and still pictures from digital camera to large LCD HDTV screen in accurate details, colors and sound.
    Cons:
The cable did not come with plastic covers for the connectors.

Excellent case but a bit small for exclosure cases

posted by Joseph on 07/21/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This case is well made with foam material inside the shell to provide cushioning. The shell material does not appear to be neoprene. The actual dimensions (in inches) are approximately 6" x 4" x 0.6".
    Cons:
The published dimension for the depth is incorrect. Due to the lack of the depth, the USB cable stored in the side pocket coul...

    It works with Windows PC

posted by Joseph on 07/09/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It was recognized and installed by Windows XP SP3 or Vista SP1 using Windows driver version 5.1.2600.5512. The physical size of this dongle is about the same as the Nano receiver of Logitech V450 laser mouse. Approximately 70-mm or 0.3-inch of the dongle w...
    Cons:
The data transfer rates are noticeably slower than using an USB cable. The constantly blinking LED is annoying. The edges of th...

    Good

posted by Joseph on 04/18/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Good fit for Nokia 5610 XpressMusic. Crystal clear screen protective film without showing rainbow marks under direct light. Easy application to the screen.
    Cons:
It also covers the light sensor next to the earpiece, which would be better left uncovered. The film could be 2-mm longer and ...

posted by Joseph on 04/15/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Synthetic leather, very well made, non-removable metal belt clip on the back.
    Cons:
The magnetic closure may damage or interfere with some phones. For example, it unlocks the keypad of my Nokia 5610 whenever I ...

It works with XP and Vista

posted by Joseph on 03/28/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Installed quickly by Windows XP Professional SP3 and Vista SP1 using Windows own driver version 5.1.2600.5512. The effective range indoor appeared to be about 20 feet, similar to that of a Bluetooth headset. The dongle is of the same small physical size a...
    Cons:
The data transfer rate appeared much slower than using an USB cable. The bright flashing blue LED was quite annoying. The edg...
