Everybody loved these at Burningman 2008

posted by Joshatdot on 02/14/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I got about 100 of these to give as gifts at Burningman 2008. Everyone loved em! Much brighter than I thought! Random type changing; starts slowish from one to the other, then quickly, and back to slow.
    Cons:
3 of the 98 I ordered were had a half moon shaped output. What I mean is that the normal round lights circles emanating from t...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Awesome Cool, White, Bright 1xAA! Built like a tank, nice hefty build. Fits my eneloops very easily.
    Cons:
Doesn't tail stand. My Sony 2500mA NiMH's are a very tight fit. Lobster claw would be nice to clip on key ring.

Good little EDC orch, would be better with 14500'

posted by Joshatdot on 02/05/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Fairly small and thin, light AA torch. Can tail stand, but lanyard makes it tilt a tiny bit. Primarys and Rechargables fit in the body easily. Holster is a nice bonus, but I rarely use it. Build quality is very good.
    Cons:
Compared to the SAIK RC-A3, this C3 is not as bright. But I only have AA's, and no 14500's to test it with. Also the RC-A3's ...

    Awesome little AA Light, A+

posted by Joshatdot on 12/21/2007 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
VERY Bright for a single AA!!(even with rechargeables). Very well built. Has a nice heft to it weight, probably could take a lot of abuse.
    Cons:
Battery compartment is a tad tight. My Sony 2500 mAh NiMH's b-a-r-e-l-y fit. But that might because of the hard/sharp edge of...
