Really nice, but picky about gas cans

posted by Larsss on 12/05/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Cheap , small, light weight stove with piezo. Would set you back a lot more (several times this amount) in local shops here. You'd get a somewhat better product, though :-)
    Cons:
The big rubber ring is a bit too thick so it does not work with all cans of gas that should be compatible. If you remove the ou...

    Fit is too tight

posted by Larsss on 09/14/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
    Looks good, cheap
    Cons:
The fit is too tight. Not only is this annoying when seating and removing the device but it could be quite dangerous to your iP...

Very nice see-through case for a great price

posted by Larsss on 04/09/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Easy to put onto your phone; great price; looks good, except color, see below; actually protects more of the phone's surface than its inspiration does. Buttons are easy to operate.
    Cons:
Mute switch is almost impossible to operate; headphone plug must be narrow to fit. A bit softer than the Griffin Reveal, I thin...

    Works well with iPhone 3G

posted by Larsss on 09/22/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Cheap, compact solution; Integrated mains plug; Some extra connectors which may be handy; Voltages match iPhone requirements; Will charge iPhone 3G battery fully once; then there is a very little bit left.
    Cons:
Mains plug does not fit European connectors; No indicator for charge left; Connectors are not the exact same as in picture; min...

Nice but not perfect for 3G

posted by Larsss on 09/13/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
A nice set that will set you back a lot more elsewhere (other merchants do nog hesitate charge several $ for either of these miniscule items). Dock connector cover fits my iPhone 3G perfectly. I was shipped the 'black' (smoke) version which I like.
    Cons:
Earphone plug does nog fit the earphone hole in a 3G; it sems made for the deeper one in an original iPhone Sim removal pin cou...

    Quite compact (flat!) world adapter

posted by Larsss on 06/04/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
A very flat, very versatile piece of kit this thing replaces the numerous circular adaptors I used to haul around. Nice.
    Cons:
Some parts look somewhat flimsy but we'll see.

    Good strap for little money

posted by Larsss on 06/04/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Very nicely made, somewhat elastic with ani-slip layer inside. no obtrusive logos etcetera except for "Matin" in both sides. Looks so much better than the ugly, original Nikon neck strap. The material can stretch a bit which makes your camera feel...
    Cons:
It could be a bit longer and as with all camera straps with classic mount loops attaching and adjusting it is a bit more work t...

Funnny gadget, a lot too sensitive though...

posted by Larsss on 04/15/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
If you hit the right tone (Not that hard to do for me, although I'm not quite your musical mastermind) it really does beep which is good for a smile and quite addictive... You will find back your keys using this little gadget; it really works for that.
    Cons:
It also reacts to virtually anyhting else, unfortunatly. Rattling keys (!), music, a knock on the table, speech, you name it. I...

Turn most flashlights into bike lights

posted by Larsss on 04/05/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Cheap, light and useful. No moving parts to break, hardly anything that could corrode. Does not look fancy so will not get stolen. Fits sku 1254 (and 1255) perfectly, great combination. Fits both my bikes (mountainbike and travel bike).
    Cons:
A fancier version with a strap over it would be a welcome addition. Not that I've lost one but still :-)
