Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Very small. Hemispherical design is a great idea for laptops, it doesn't get caught in the pouch, you can grab the laptop as you want. Worked at the very second it was plugged in my computer (Windows 7) no driver required. Detection of my BT mouse and my ce...
    Cons:
The shape might be a problems on some computers, as if the USB ports are too deep in the plastic shell or too close.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Plug it on the back of your TV, switch on. Menu is clear, the LCN works great. I get all the channels available here with a weak signal.
    Cons:
Plastic case seems very fragile. The power cord can be pulled of very easily (but it preserve the SCART connector, so not a bad...

Probably one of the best thing you can buy on DX

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
A separated and mechanical switch on/off button, making you sure it's on or off. Measures are pretty accurate, even for capacitors. Voltages up to 1000 and 750 can be usefull too.
    Cons:
The leads are shorts and mine get broken. The metal plates for the capacitors aren't cut well and it can get hard to put one in.

    For printers and scanners only.

posted by Lesarthois on 09/13/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
The long cable allow to get your printer/scanner away from the computer. Need no power supply. Very small. Doesn't need driver (for the adaptor, the printer will need one)
    Cons:
On windows, install a virtual printer on each USB port. You'll have to plug it on the same one or to search for the good one if...

    Useful!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Plug it. That's all you need to do. Plug it into your USB port and plug your PS/2 keyboard and mouse. Nothing to install. Work with every keyboard and mouse I tried, even 20 years old ones.
    Cons:
The red LED is useless. Nothing else then.

    Nice little trackball

posted by Lesarthois on 09/13/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Design fit the hand well. Can be used as trackball and normal mouse. Very long cord. The body is very light.
    Cons:
The cord seems very thin. Mine still work but I'm afraid to break it. The shape is a bit small for large hands. The wheel is ...

    Better in Black and White

posted by Lesarthois on 09/13/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
8 channels instead of four on mine. Can work on battery... But you'll need a battery powered TV! And works only for 1 hour. Very small, can fit almlost everywhere, and hardly noticeable in many case. Picture fit a whole PAL TV monitor. Emitter range is good.
    Cons:
Colours are shitty on mine, NTSC like. Green is pink and blue is purple. It's not possible to fix it on many PAL/SECAM set then...

    Close to an original one

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Works like the original Nintendo controller. Look like it too, in black. Buttons touch are a bit different, but after a month I'm used to it so it's fine
    Cons:
The silicone sleeve holes were cut bad on mine, but heh, I just had to cut them myself to get a good looking one. The joystick...

    It works

posted by Lesarthois on 04/20/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Works with my old Maxon phone simlocked to the old French provider Itineris. Very useful to use any phone with any SIM. The card itself is very thin, like paper.
    Cons:
The chip is a bit heavy, on some phone it may avoid the SIM to ple inserted correctly. The card seems very fragile, take care ...

    A must have

posted by Lesarthois on 12/24/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Cheap, do its job very well, take no place, can be used in any Eurolike power plug (like type C, E, F, E/F and others : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AC_power_plugs_and_sockets )
    Cons:
Not much to say against it, except that the plug plugged in can be pulled out easily, and also that the contacts aren't half in...
