Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I previously had an 8 AA battery power pack that screwed on to the bottom of the camera, that was OK, but got in the way if you wanted to do portrait shots. I got this to replace it to go with my Nikon SB800 Flashgun. The build quality is very good, nothing...
    Cons:
The unit isn't exactly small, it is about the same size as my Nikon D300 + The Grip in height, I thought this would be a proble...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It's nice and hefty, good packing and holds strong with my 4 x C size battery holder for my headlight. The clip is sturdy and wont pop loose easily, the size of the belt is good and easily adjusts.
    Cons:
The loops are too small to atatch anything. The flashlight holsters bought from DX do not fit, so I attempted to put a standar...

posted by Munkeh on 04/10/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Does not activate if someone brushes past. as cheap as it is, its built OK for the price. VERY loud, the alarm sound is good and effective. I haven't let it sound for its full 35 seconds as it would attract too much attention (what its built for!!)
    Cons:
The bracket is too small to fit onto a bike!! it needs to be longer to fit round standard tubing. I suppose a bit of gaffer tap...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Its about the same size as the 1.2KG tripod. Easily portable light useful for low photography where a standard tripod is too bulky Purple is probs better than grey for what conditions I use it for but grey would be better for resale The pod is sturdier when...
