    Good deal for mini-wireless cam

    Pros:
This actually has a great build quality. The camera itself can be stealthily mounted anywhere and powered by an included A/C adaptor. It transmits signal inside my house pretty well, I put a bigger antenna on the receiver and it can transmit over 100m. Curr...
    Cons:
The camera can't be upgraded in the antenna area as easily as the receiving unit can be. IR Leds lack range but function okay w...

Looks cool, you may need to calibrate

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Looks like a mini-disk case, which is pretty awesome. It also supports up to 200g, which means weighing and tare-ing with cups and other measuring devices will be safer for the scale. Very stealthy look.
    Cons:
Mine came uncalibrated. It thought a 5 gram weight was 3.4 grams. I need to get a 200g calibration weight to fix this, and have...

    Stylish but fragile

posted by Muzzleflash on 04/08/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Lightweight, velour feeling plastic, good lenses. Price is awesome. They look good and they fit best if you have a medium to small sized head, but I have a large head and they fit ok, just a bit of discomfort if I wear for 3-4 hours plus.
    Cons:
They are fragile. I snapped mine by accident, luckily it was covered by the rubber 'sheath' and I was able to glue them. Then I...

If you like tinkering, this is a deal

posted by Muzzleflash on 04/08/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
The good: It accepts SD cards and USB sticks, and also has 1/4" audio input as well as RCA type inputs. It comes with a typical chinese style mini-remote. It has acceptable audio quality. You can power it off 12 volts easily. I am using it as a standal...
    Cons:
This is decently designed and cheaply assembled. I needed to take it apart and oil one of the on/off buttons so it didn't stick...

    amazing little scale

posted by Muzzleflash on 01/28/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This scale looks great. It comes with protective cling film attached to the shiny bits around the buttons. It has a built in protective cover (the clear plastic) and uses two AAA batteries so it will probably not run out of juice for a year, given my experi...
    Cons:
It's only a .1gram scale, so if you need it for more precise measurements, it will not be sufficient.
