    Nice cabinet lights

posted by Nygma on 02/03/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This is a very nice cabinet light. I think the color temperature is cooler than 3300K. I have quite a few 3000K LED lights and this is definitely cooler. Still not as cool as "cool white" lights. I will attach some pictures later. Unlike some of D...
    Cons:
No real cons. See my reservations in Pros and Other Thoughts. This is not the best buy on DX, but certainly does the job nicely.

    Pros:
Very small and very bright lights. I bought 2 packs together with SKU 140015 for mounting. I have connected them in series and drive them SKU 157686 from the mains.
    Cons:
1 bulb in the pack was dead.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I am very satisfied with the quality of this product. The acrylic cover is nicely machined and frosted inside. There a 3 SMD LEDs inside, which look like SKU 146854. The heatsink at the back is more than enough. It hardly gets warmer than hand temperature. ...
    Cons:
I found that the spring loaded clips are not strong enough to keep lamp in the hole. But I fixed that with a help of pliers.

    Nice even light

posted by Nygma on 08/17/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Very bright and homogeneous light. Not blue or yellow either, somewhere in between. I used this to build my own ring light for my SLR: http://www.instructables.com/id/Build-ring-light-for-your-camera/
    Cons:
Not really, it does what it is supposed to.
