    All good

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
They work, as far as I can see. I have not tested the resistance as I do not have the gear, but I have used this fro a unit that has a 100A ESC that peaks at over 250A , and the performance was there.
    Cons:
IMO The heatshrink that came with them is not big enough for the cables that work with 100A. I had to use my own.

    Pros:
These are very useful when checking LiPo batteries, during charging and usage. They are very accurate, at least in my case. I bought 8 and they all worked well.
    Cons:
It would be good to have the polarity more obvious. It is tiny and unless I look closely (esp in poorer light) I end up guessin...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Small, but seem sturdy. I actually like using it "pistol style" with the bike mount on. Having said that it's really easy to take out anyway. this is good if you are leaving the bike and don't want the light stolen. The bike mount is logical and ...
    Cons:
Slight blue tint, which is a con if you are worried about the colour, but a pro because the eye sees it as brighter. The progra...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It's cheap. It's small. It's light. It is also very versatile.
    Cons:
I have two different cameras and there is no separate cable so I had to buy two units. Not death at this price, but annoying an...

    Seems good, but QC problem

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This meter is easy to use. It is well packaged, and the overall quality looks good
    Cons:
My problem is that on the second try, the meter lost one of the bars of the display. So I could not tell 0 from 8. I could pres...

    These really work!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It really does allow a focusable beam. You cannot match this among the reflectors I have tried for a spot beam. The beam is reasonable even at spread.
    Cons:
With the stronger (Cree etc) LEDs you get a square beam at max throw min beam width. This is unavoidable with a "normal&qu...

Why show it with a star?

posted by OldNick on 05/18/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
The unit seems fairly neat and well built. Good price.
    Cons:
It will not fit a star unless you take so much off the edges that there is no path for wiring. I will grab a 16mm LED base and ...

    Superbright spot

posted by OldNick on 05/01/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Very bright. Good clean beam on the one I have tried. Faintly blue. No purple. Even spread. Excellent spotlight. Wide input voltage range.
    Cons:
Needs a little more side-spill to make it more useful. Single mode.
