Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Bright, doesn't consume much watts. Spot light and immidiately full power when switched on.
    Cons:
The first week I was very satisfied with this purchase (see pros). Then they started to lose sectors (1/3 or 2/3 or all leds ou...

Nice toy - and environment friendly

posted by Olpok on 07/09/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
I opened it up - and there's a space for a 10440 battery. No connections for a battery, but if you have a soldering iron... Nice and not so small solar panel, useful for other experiments too. Rides rather fast on a sunny day. Possibility to adjust the fr...
    Cons:
The motor is rather noisy. Needs direct sunlight from above, it won't move with an evening sun at 20° degrees. 40° d...

Very bright and warm white (yellow)

posted by Olpok on 07/09/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Very bright - I replaced 40 Watt normal spots (old style tungsten glow wire) with these. These are much smaller and actually brighter. Well, do the math: 3 Watt electricity consumption vs. 40 watt, for a brighter light source....
    Cons:
None. I ordered several of these, no problems with any of them.

Nice price/quality ratio - very bright

posted by Olpok on 04/11/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Small (could be shorter tho - that would be the max: same diameter and quality and, let's say, 6 mm shorter). Very bright light for its size and quite throwy. Just an on/off switch and not 5 (mostly useless) modes. Nice quality, small - fits in any pocket,...
    Cons:
Probably not waterproof if submerged completely (switch and front have no o-rings).

Ok, but not there is brighter

posted by Olpok on 03/05/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Low energy consumption. If you replace halogen spotlights with this one, you'll notice it on your energy bill. Comes with a lens that gives about a 35 degrees angle. If you remove the lens, the light is completely spread.
    Cons:
Not as bright as a 20 watt halogen. After installing, one spotlight stopped working after a couple of seconds (bad thermal cond...

posted by Olpok on 02/20/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Very bright for it's size. It will impress everyone who will see it. Small and easy to keep in your pocket all the time. looks very expensive (but it isn't) and has a robust quality. Runtime is even better than the manufactuer rated runtime on a Trustfi...
    Cons:
None at all. Because the flashlight got a little warm after a few minutes, I dropped it in a deep glass of water (completely im...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Delivered in a reusable plastic case (2 batteries) - so you can store them witnout the danger of short circuit. Good performance 2800 mAh (I didn't measure that capacity though). Same length as other protected 18650 battries.
    Cons:
    none

Not the best - good compared to bulb flashlights

posted by Olpok on 02/04/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Bright flashlight. If you're used to bulb / halogen etc. flahlights this little light will surprise you with its brightness. Lightweight - small and bright.
    Cons:
Put a Li-ion 3.7 volt battery in it, and it will be brighter than AA. But it will refuse to work on an AA battery after a Li-io...

    Bright and cheap

posted by Olpok on 01/27/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Very bright headlamp, if you focus the beam and put it on full power, it's actually too bright for nearby indoor use. Feels very comfy and balanced when you put carry it on your head. Works perfectly on regular AAA batteries.
    Cons:
I have no idea if it is waterproof.

    Power in your pocket

posted by Olpok on 01/26/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - Very robust quality, nice shiny stainless steel, looks much more expensive than it is. - Very bright for it's size: I can light up the trees 40 meters from my house in the dark (with the beam, nit the spill). Useful spill also for nearby visibility or in...
    Cons:
    - None at all. You may or may not need the strobe and SOS, that's a matter of personal taste or need. - You need to apply sili...
