    Lightweigt like incandescent bulb

posted by PA5UL on 04/07/2014 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Nicely coloured light, warm but not like flame. The bulb itself is surprisingly lightweight, almost like old incandescent lightbulbs and not nearly as heavy as most other LED bulbs. Great Lumen/Watt ratio.
    Cons:
Haven't found any yet in the bulbs themselves. Light cardboard boxes were mangled in the mail as they were summarily crammed in...

Very low power consumption compared to conventional R7S filament lights. The leaflet claims 13 Lumen per Watt.

Does not fit in my R7S lamp, see pictures.

Neat little power pack for hobby projects

posted by PA5UL on 02/18/2014 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Sturdy stainless steel housing, small size allows you to place it inside equipment. Neat printed circuit layout, good component placement and soldering, looks really professional. Little green LED indicates power is available.
    Cons:
No strain relief connection for power cords, needs external housing to make it completely safe to use. No on/off switch supplie...

    No charger needed to recharge

posted by PA5UL on 02/18/2014 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
No separate charger is needed to recharge the battery as a cable is supplied that can be plugged into a USB port. Rechargeble battery supplied lasts several days of intensive use. The mouse itself is plug and play, good resolution that can be changed instan...
    Cons:
Don't use a normal battery with the power cord as this could be quite dangerous if the battery explodes. A second USB port is n...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Good quality, fits hand well, very easy to install and use. Tiny adaptor fits any USB port on your PC and can be left in even when stored in laptop case. Good range, compatible with all my PC's and laptops. Pressing the button on top of the mouse changes re...
    Cons:
On/off switch located on bottom to disable battery use, not fuly automatic. I usually forget to turn it off but battery (1 AA s...

    Usefull but not looking 'cool'

posted by PA5UL on 02/18/2014 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Plug 'n play, just plug it into lighter socket and have three sockets AND a USB socket available instantly. Unit can bend over so the leads can be led away sideways too. I was pleasantly surprised nu leads come undone whilst driving on a bumpy road.
    Cons:
Unit arrived with severl 'diamonds' loose already, the remainder could be dislodged easily. Flimsy glue job? This only impairs ...

    GREAT value for money!

posted by PA5UL on 10/21/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Just plug 'n play on all my laptops. So small you can leave it in the USB port even when packing the laptop in it's case. Works fine with all Bluetooth gadgets I or my kids have. Fair throughput rate, Bluetooth just isn't as fast as other transfer means but...
    Cons:
So small it's easy to loose if you don't keep it in a spot you'll remember later ;)

    Price/quality OK, low price ;)

posted by PA5UL on 07/14/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Had an identical blue mouse before for over a year and it never let me down. The small USB transceiver can be stored in the mouse body when not in use, but it's so small you don't even need to take it out of your laptop if you put that in it's case. If you ...
    Cons:
Having to remember to switch off the mouse after use is a pain, however using a rechargeable battery solves most of the associa...

    Good value for money

posted by PA5UL on 11/20/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Bought several on separate occasions, have put them to use in a camera, a cell phone and a GPS navigator, all without any problem. Will probably buy more when the need arises.
    Cons:
4 Million bytes equate to some 3.8 GB, not 4. Still ample size for my applications.

Does the job, easy to use, good value for money

posted by PA5UL on 08/18/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Very easy to use; just plug the charger into a wall power outlet, plug in your USB charger cable with the device you want to charge and charging begins immediately.
    Cons:
Can't really think of any? Maybe it should be available in more colours to prevent the kids hassling over which one is theirs ;)
