    A bright, compact, affordable flashlight

posted by Powerbeam on 01/21/2014 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
It is very bright. When the zoom is set to throw I can illuminate a building across the road that is over 100 meters distant. It is light and compact. Maybe a bit too large for your trousers pockets (it runs on AA batteries) but perfect for jacket pockets...
    Cons:
When zoom is set to maximum throw you will see the square shape of the led. When set to flood you will see a kind of double rin...

Handy flashlight with a couple of drawbacks

posted by Powerbeam on 01/21/2014 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Bright enough for this kind of flashlight. Finish is very good, it does not feel like a cheap device. Well balanced and easy to hold. * Price is very good.
    Cons:
The beam is too wide, this is basically a flood light, but I would expect it to be a spot light given its shape. The tail-cap ...

    Charge your console from USB

posted by Powerbeam on 06/30/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
The DSi comes with a proprietary connector charger and forces you to carry another charger with you. With this cable instead I can charge the DSi from any USB charging device. The plastic is OK, the cable is not too thin. It plus correctly into the socket, ...
    Cons:
    None really.

    Bright little flashlight

posted by Powerbeam on 06/30/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This is a small and light flashlight, basically the size of an AAA battery plus the led malp head. It is a very bright flashlight. The red color makes it easy to find in the bag. It can be easily attached to a key chain. Fit and finish of aluminium body is ...
    Cons:
This is a twist to turn on flashlight, and the mechanism is a bit hard to operate with the tip of your fingers. The beam is a b...

    Bright and well built

posted by Powerbeam on 04/20/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
It is very bright for an AAA flashlight. It is very well built, robust and shiny stainless steel body with goot fit and finish. Looks more expensive than it is.
    Cons:
It is a tad heavy and bulky, not the best choice if you want a flashlight that you can carry with you at all times. Other flas...

    Not very easy to use

posted by Powerbeam on 04/08/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It comes at an affordable price and is a good solution for the CASUAL macro shooter who cannot justify the price of a dedicated ring flash. Build quality is okayish.
    Cons:
Fitting this to the 430ex is not easy, the flange is wider than the flash head and despite my efforts to fit the velctro strap ...
