Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Quite small SPDT microswitches with a short lever. Most of them switch exactly where you feel and hear the click, both up and down.
    Cons:
I tested them all with a multimeter's continuity buzzer, that beeps at about 20 ohms or less. Seven microswitches were perfect....

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Good cheap collection of resistors for electronics hobby projects.

    Plug and play

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - Very compact - Works with SDHC - Standard-size USB connector doesn't block neighboring USB ports - Holder clip for the USB cable keeps it from dangling loose when not in use - Shows up as one drive letter (not one per slot)
    Cons:
    - USB cable is short and stiff as usual, don't expect the reader to bend in the position you'd like it
