Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
The price is always the best pro at Deal Extreme. The quality is good. The inner ring is made of metal, the rest is made of foldable rubber.
    Cons:
When the lens is set at 10mm (Cropfactor 1.6) and the lens hood is folded all the way out, it is very obvious in the picture th...

    Useful lens hood

posted by Rik0331 on 09/27/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Of course, the price is the best pro! The quality is good. It has a metal ring and the rest is made of rubber. It's possible to apply a filter and a lens cap.
    Cons:
This rubber lens hood looks unprofessional, but I think the quality of the pictures is more important than how your camera look...

    Good ND Filter

posted by Rik0331 on 04/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Of course, the biggest pro of this ND8 Camera Lens Filter is it's price. ND camera lens filters are quite expensive in stores. With this ND filter you can take pictures with longer exposures in bright light.
    Cons:
The filter is supposed only to filter bright lights and the the filter should be neutral for the colors. But the photos I take ...

    Comfortable Shoulder Strap

posted by Rik0331 on 04/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Because this anti-slip shoulder strap is made of elastic water resistant foam, it feels comfortable. Even when a (heavy) DSLR is hanging on your neck. Original Canon straps are expensive, but this strap has a good price. It looks like an original Canon sho...
    Cons:
Not really a con, but the strap could be a bit longer. Fortunately I'm not very tall, so it's no problem for me.

    Great Quality

posted by Rik0331 on 04/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
The folding magnifier is made of metal, it's quite heavy. The object you want to look at with this magnifier is illuminated by two LED lights. The image you see trough the lens is clear. It comes with a protective carrying pouch. It's a good price for this...
    Cons:
No cons for this 8x folding magnifier. I'm not quite sure what to do with the screw and needle.

    Pros:
The wired remote shutter release can be used on different Canon cameras. Just plug and shoot! When you plug the shutter release into the camera a indicator light is visible immediately. The wire has a good length and is feels like it's of good quality. The...

Absolutely no cons for this great product!

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This LP-E5 replament battery has no problems charging with the original Canon charger. It also has no problems with my Canon Eos 450D.
    Cons:
Not really a con; This deal would be even better when this replacement battery was delivered with a plastic cover to protect t...

Good Lens Hood for my Canon

posted by Rik0331 on 04/18/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Similar lens hoods for Canons lenses will cost 20 euros in Dutch stores (about 26 US dollars). It seems to be of good quality. It fits perfectly on my camera lens. The ring that you can screw on to your lens' thread is another advantage.
    Cons:
Not really a con; the carton box this lens hood came in could be of better quality. The box had a lot of suffering from the shi...

Glass loose in filter, quality ok

posted by Rik0331 on 04/18/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Of course the low price is always the best pro. The cheapest 52mm UV lens filter in Dutch stores is 25 euros (about 32 US dollars). This Premium UV camera lens filter protects your camera against harmful Ultra Violet light. It also protects your camera lens...
    Cons:
This UV lens filter makes some noise, because the glass in the filter has some space to move in the metal casing. It even makes...
