    Gets the job done cheaply

posted by Sachou on 11/21/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Plug and Play. Windows 7 recognized it immediately, and all the controls work. Small size. Compatible with Universal Remotes.
    Cons:
Range is not 18m, which was expected, as Manufacturers always exaggerate that. I'd say it's more around 5m range, which is stil...

    Mine was not aligned well

posted by Sachou on 11/18/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
The brushed metal under clear plastic looks nice. The pen holder is convenient. The clip itself attaches to the visor solidly.
    Cons:
Just another case of less than perfect quality control, but at this price, that's to be expected. One side closes nice and soli...

    Great Emergency Tool

posted by Sachou on 11/18/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Small, light, powerful, very effective tool. I keep it in my Altoids Tin Survival Kit, and even though it has a tiny footprint, it is still more than enough length for effective, full strokes. It seems very durable, and when I tested it out I was surprised ...
    Cons:
There's really no con to this well constructed, simple tool. Maybe that it might not be corrosion resistant?

The most High Tech Low Tech Device I've used lol

posted by Sachou on 07/30/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
This thing is fully adjustable where a cell phone holder doesn't need to be adjustable. It will do everything to fit your phone's needs. Not only are the side holders spring loaded, they smoothly expand to your liking. Like Butter. The phone holder rotates ...
    Cons:
The phone holder just kind of slides into the bottom half of the apparatus, trusting only gravity to hold it in place...not muc...

    Good Concept, needs improvement

posted by Sachou on 11/07/2007 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Good, solid construction, good concept, small size, semi-bright LED.
    Cons:
No voltage regulation (even though it doesn't really matter for my usage), crappy battery life (as expected from AAA's), the Us...

    Excellent Replacement/Spare battery

posted by Sachou on 10/08/2007 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Lasts 3 times as long as my original old, worn-out, Motorola battery. Can't distinguish it from the real thing, and works just as well.
    Cons:
    none.

    Great, cheap, dual-flame lighter

posted by Sachou on 10/08/2007 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Extremely well built - machinery wise, very weighty, shiny, good quality metal, expensive feel. Dual flame extremely useful, and the green torch flame almost impossible to blow out (unless you really blow hard...but is windproof up to hurricane winds). The ...
    Cons:
Very unreliable. Must be refilled frequently, and mine leaks fluid, or something, because half the time it works, and the other...

Best you can get for $2

posted by Sachou on 09/17/2007 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Great build quality, feels like a $15 pointer, and are better than the crappy $10 pointers you get at gas stations. Dot it bright at 5mW and can be focused to however far you're pointing it at. Smaller than normal pointers.
    Cons:
    Doesn't come with other tips

    Most amazing flashlights ever.

posted by Sachou on 09/15/2007 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
These things are as bright as the sun, and dwarf many of my fullsize C Cell flashlights. Works underwater! They're extremely tiny. Great for throwing at people in a crowd.
    Cons:
2 out of the 10 lights shipped were dim/defective/had dead batteries.
