    T10 Adapter broken

posted by Se7enLC on 12/05/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
I was very excited about this LED array. 960 Lumens for only 12W, I was hoping the cargo area of my Subaru would light up like the sun. Unfortunately, it arrived with a broken adapter, so I can't even test it out.
    Cons:
T10 adapter is missing one of the conductors, so it doesn't work at all. Unfortunately, being a 12W LED, I can't even plug it i...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
I'm not going to go through and test every capacitor, but the packaging was adequate. All the sizes were based separately in tiny ziplocks.
    Cons:
No ESD foam. Didn't really expect any.

Works on Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7 tablet

posted by Se7enLC on 09/20/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Very high build quality. Looks as good as the cables Samsung makes. Combines the normal USB OTG functionality with a dual SD and micro SD card reader. Small enough to throw in the bag along with a few SD cards loaded up with TV, music, etc. Also great for o...
    Cons:
none, yet. $7 is steep for an OTG cable, but for one that has both card readers, it's a good deal!

    Pros:
4 pins: GND, Power, TX and RX. Flash "ASCII Test" to an Arduino and wire it up to the primary TX and RX port. Download BlueTerm for Android for an easy way to connect. It just works! You can change the Name and PIN via AT commands. Super-cheap a...
    Cons:
Can't be set for master mode - only slave. This means that you can't connect two of these devices together - you need to use a ...

    Works as fine, decent quality

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This cable is very small, which makes it very convenient and portable. The USB connector is very efficiently small, and the cable is a good length for emergency charging off a laptop or USB charger. Works with the Motorola Droid.
    Cons:
The USB connector is nice and small, but the microUSB connector is gigantic compared to normal microUSB cables. What is going o...

    Works great, no noise

posted by Se7enLC on 04/06/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
If you have a need for a headphone splitter, this is the one you should get. Most splitters come straight out the top, putting strain on the connector. This splits to the sides nicely, reducing strain on the connector. Nice thin wire doesn't take up much sp...
    Cons:
No volume controls (but those aren't really expected). Connectors are a bit tight - you have to push quite hard to get them in....

    addendum to my previous review

posted by Se7enLC on 03/14/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
While I was working on modifying the tripd to make the legs extend further apart from eachother, I realized that no modification is really needed! You can simply unscrew the leg module a few turns and separate the legs until they hit it. The unscrewing can...

Tripod is great, with a little modification

posted by Se7enLC on 03/13/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Tripod is very small, so it will pack well. It's mostly metal, so it looks like it will last. Ball-joint attachment at the top, so you can adjust to any angle.
    Cons:
To attach the camera, you have to turn the camera or the tripod, rather than having a thumbwheel. Takes a little longer and is ...
