    Good sensitivity

posted by Shannoes on 04/27/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It's very sensitive and moves smoothly on all surfaces. The cord is lightweight and flexible so it's not getting in the way of things on my desk. The rubber coating is easy to grip, but it's not the type that attracts dust easily. The wheel moves freely ...
    Cons:
It's small, if you have large hands then using it for a long time may give you a cramped hand. I also find that the placement ...

    An essential tool for electronics

posted by Shannoes on 04/27/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
The elastic is nice and snug, the cable clips onto the snap very securely, and the alligator clip is good & strong. The wire is generously long so you don't feel like you're always stretching it to reach for something. The price is amazing.
    Cons:
None so far. It would be awfully hard to make something as simple as this with any flaws.

    Handy for a spare

posted by Shannoes on 04/27/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This cable is inexpensive and very useful to have on-hand as a spare. The curly-cord means it's compact and easy to fold away into a small space like a glove box or backpack. The connectors feel solid and make a decent connection to the phone.
    Cons:
The wire feels a bit thin. Just be careful not to bend it sharply or stretch it too far.

    Lightwieght and durable

posted by Shannoes on 04/27/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
These sunglasses are super lightweight and very comfortable to wear. I hardly notice them when they're on. They're also quite durable; I've sat on them by accident a couple of times and it did them no harm at all. The lenses give a nice, wide field-of-vi...
    Cons:
The lenses are not quite as clear as I would like. I've bought other sunglasses from DX and found the lenses much clearer than...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Small and easy to install. Windows 7 recognised it and automatically installed the drivers, and it started working straight away. I really like having the volume and mute buttons right on the device, making it quick to make adjustments without having to f...

Just as good as the original

posted by Shannoes on 02/01/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Using a touch-screen device like a tablet can get uncomfortable when you type things out for a long time. This stylus is an excellent alternative that will save you from sore fingertips. It has a nice, light barrel, the tip is soft enough you won't damage...
    Cons:
Not really a problem, just an observation: the barrel is fairly slim and my hands are large. If I used this for a very long ti...

    Bright enough but not blinding

posted by Shannoes on 02/01/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This light is nice and bright, but not so bright that it's blinding and hard on the eyes. It nicely lights the keyboard of my laptop so I can see what I'm doing in the darkness. The shielding is also excellent as it prevents annoying light-leak from aroun...
    Cons:
    None that I can see.

    A solid extension cable

posted by Shannoes on 01/15/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
A solidly-built cable that does what it's supposed to do. The connectors are nice & chunky without the 'cheap plastic' feel of some others. They also click in positively and don't wiggle loose. The cable is thick & solid, yet still reasonably fle...
    Cons:
None that I've found so far.

    Compact charger

posted by Shannoes on 01/15/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
The small size means this is easy to tuck away somewhere. I bought it to take with me when travelling, I'll have no trouble packing it into a pocket or small case. It's also got separate sockets for iPhone and iPad, with the iPad one supposedly delivering...
    Cons:
Similar to a charger I had before, this one can't be opened. Typically, these devices have a small inline fuse for overcurrent...

    Quality replacement battery

posted by Shannoes on 01/15/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
An excellent replacement battery for my cordless phone. The universal connectors fit perfectly, the phone recognised the battery, and it charged up just fine. It delivers 2-3 days of charge like the original did when new.
    Cons:
Not a complaint, just an observation: the universal connectors are fiddly to work with if you have large fingers. Also, keep t...
