    Quality has deteriorated

posted by Shutterlag on 03/19/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
THe first time I tried these the quality was brilliant - the best 18650 batteries I had tried. Recently, the quality has dropped, and the batteries currently being supplied only have a capacity of around 2300mAh. This is reflected in the shorter run times I...
    Cons:
Not as good as the used to be. Now 500mAh lower capacity than SenyBor 2800mAh.

    Faulty Power Selection Switch

posted by Shutterlag on 10/02/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
The light distribution is excellent. The two side lights spread a wide beam across the road. The middle main light produces a bright far reaching beam.
    Cons:
The power selection switch didn't work, resulting in only two modes being selectable. The lamp head is a bit bulky on the bars...

    The best 3000mAh 18650

posted by Shutterlag on 08/21/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Excellent power output. Excellent burn time. Seem to be the claimed capacity. Look and feel the part.
    Cons:
A bit pricey. Take a long time to charge - probably because they are actually 3000mAh.

    Not up to the job

posted by Shutterlag on 03/27/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
If you put them in a flashlight, they work. Apart from that, they do not have much going for them.
    Cons:
Normally a 3000mAh battery will run for around 2.5 hours in a 900 Lumen flashlight. These lasted around 1 hour 15 minutes. Eit...

    Not the stated capacity

posted by Shutterlag on 03/20/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
At this price, it's a good buy for 300mAh batteries. But, check the cons below.
    Cons:
Nowhere near the stated capacity. Normally with 3000mAh batteries, a 900 lumen flashlight will run for 2.5 hours on full settin...

    Cheapest 900 Lumen Great value

posted by Shutterlag on 03/20/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Cheap. Great light output. Runs for 2.5 hours at high level with a 3000mAh battery and will keep going after that with a lower brightness level. Carry a spare battery and it will last as long as anyone is ever going to need.
    Cons:
I would prefer a narrower beam with a brighter hot spot, but can buy one for a couple of dollars more, so I'm really being pick...
