    Can't go wrong.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Very good price for this, excellent quality and extremely useful piece of cord for a multitude of everyday uses.
    Cons:
It's quite thin, so it can cut into softer materials when tied.

    Can't fault it.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Works out of the box under Mac OSX, both versions 10.8.* and 10.9 Mavericks. Very compact, has a small blue LED but this isn't bright enough to be annoying. Pairs fine with all devices that I've tried.
    Cons:
Very compact when inserted, some people may find this inconvenient if it's hidden down behind a desktop PC. There's really not...

    Good sized little backup battery

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Nice and compact compared to the 18650 based chargers. The solar panel is around 1.5 watts, so this equates to about 300 mAh of current at 5 watts under ideal conditions. Worked with every device I tested it with, iPhone 5, iPad 3, Blackberry etc. The suppl...
    Cons:
The button to turn the battery on/off is recessed and a little fiddly. The downside is that once it's charged your iPhone/iPad ...

    Working well for me.

posted by Siftah on 06/19/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
These seem good capacity, I'm using them as a set of 4 cells in a USB power bank (sourced elsewhere) and they're capable of charging a variety of devices multiple times. 4 of these are giving me at least 2 full charges of an iPhone 5.
    Cons:
These are unprotected cells and as such, need to be charged and used in a device which will manage their charge.

Nice little charger and a great price.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Very happy with the quality and output of this charger, I've not yet measured the output but going off the charge time of an iPhone 5 and an iPad 3, I can say that it must be fairly close to the rated output. Extremely compact and the cable is of good quali...
    Cons:
I don't think I can identify a con, it does exactly what it says it will and the price is excellent.

Very strong and handy little magnets.

posted by Siftah on 06/19/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Very small little magnets and extremely strong for their size. They can hold themselves together in a loop or in a variety of shapes and can be quite difficult to prize apart.
    Cons:
One of mine came with a chip in it, but apart from that the quality is good and the regularity of the shapes is fine.

Very handy little set for carrying around

posted by Siftah on 09/25/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Handy carrying case. Useful range of picks. Easy and convenient to keep with you. Great gift/novelty item. Way cheaper than anywhere else is selling these!
    Cons:
Not the most ergonomically satisfying picks to use, especially for a beginner as mentioned in other reviews. A basic set like ...

    Excellent little adapter.

posted by Siftah on 09/06/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Works out of the box with any modern Linux distro as an earlier reviewer notes. Very easy to get up and running as you just plug it in and away you go. Didn't experience any problems at all and have been using it constantly now to link a serial UPS into my ...
    Cons:
The only criticism I have is that the USB plug isn't a very sturdy plug so dangling a serial cable off it on the end of a devic...

    Great price!

posted by Siftah on 09/06/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
They fit in my 18650 using devices perfectly (A Fenix TK11 and a SpiderFire SSC P7) and seem to work fine. Price is excellent, much lower than I found elsewhere.
    Cons:
I'm not really sure there are any! I've not done any extensive testing off them so I can't vouch the capacity is as quoted, but...

Top quality torch at a very low price

posted by Siftah on 09/06/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    - Very bright, though probably not 900 lumens. - Cost is excellent, considering the build quality and light output. - Brilliant light if you want flood, rather than throw. - Nice crisp white beam. - Recessed tail switch won't be knocked on accidentally. - C...
    Cons:
I found the switch to be a little annoying, having to cycle through Full -> Low -> Off means you end up blinding yourself...
