    Cool little nutrient balls

posted by Sim87 on 12/20/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
The nutrient balls are easy to hydrate. It only takes four hours to hydrate fully. The colors are okay and does not fade. There is some funne 'google translate' English instructions on the packets like: 'color no fade' and 'no poisonous'
    Cons:
The balls does not offer any support to the plant. Heavy plants like cactus will sink through.

cheap track point that lasts for one day

posted by Sim87 on 12/20/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
The track point is 1/10 of the price of the brand track point. The color is good and the feel of it is even better than the brand track point that came with the computer.
    Cons:
At first I was very happy with the purchase, but after a couple of hours of use the little nobs for traction started to come of...

Usable low cost lock pick set

posted by Sim87 on 12/20/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This is a very cheap lock pick set with a lot of different picks for every situation. It does not show on the picture, but it comes with two different handles for turning the lock. comes in a small plastic pouch.
    Cons:
The plastic handles seems a bit cheap, even though the quality is great. The metal is a bit soft, but it is not a problem.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
The metal part of the picks seem to be of a great quality. There are many different sizes with different spacing between the teeth.

The green handle is just made of heat shrink tubing and it does not fit tight on all of the picks.

    It actually works!

posted by Sim87 on 12/20/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It actually works. If your windshield wipers are making streak over the windshield this thing removes them. Comes with microfiber cloths to remove shavings after use.
    Cons:
It can be a bit of a job to get the wiper blade inside the groove on the wiper wizard.

    Good little plastic transflash

posted by Sim87 on 12/20/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
The transflash is very small and handy. Even though its build from plastic it seems to be of a nice quality. There was no problems in using it just plug in the card and plug it into the computer.
    Cons:
It would have been nice with an enclosure around the MicroSD, so it looks like a more 'permanent' flash drive.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
The monocular is small and handy. The material and general build quality seems to be very good. The monocular has a focus option and it works very well. The rubber around the eye hole is very comfortable.
    Cons:
It does not zoom very much, but 7x18 is apparently not a lot.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
The flashlight is of a sturdy build and seems to be of a very nice quality material wise. It charges up quickly and the small internal battery works for a least half an hour plus.
    Cons:
The diodes could be brighter, but as long as it is used as an emergency flashlight for the car or similar it is not a problem.

    Cheap solder that's it

posted by Sim87 on 12/19/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Comes in a handy container. The size of the solder is good for small jobs on home.
    Cons:
None that I can think of. The solder smokes a little when melted, but this is not out of the ordinary when it comes to solder.
