    Useful product

posted by SirUrx on 03/26/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Can be used for AA or AAA batteries. AAA size floats a bit but not touching others - fixed in own area. I got 3 different color holders - white, pink and green, all are transparent as in pictures by DX. Plastic looks crystal-clear.
    Cons:
No cons. I have no idea of durability, yet.

    Pros:
Works fine when connected directly to mainboard. Acts as SSD. Works with 2GB SanDisk Ultra2 CF card and some older 512M CF too.
    Cons:
Needs floppy power connector to power up. I had one free but if power supply has only one of it and used for something else you...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
CF Card does fit normally. It has 1-st IDE pin parking in corner. Finds CF card when fit to my laptop. Cheap.
    Cons:
Conflicts with my Asus laptop-s DVD writer so i could not boot from CD, and even DVD device not shown in BIOS, no matter do i s...

    Normal adapter

posted by SirUrx on 08/26/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Practical for stationary use, not for testing purposes. So install it and leave it. I bought it for mini-itx motherboard. Looks solid and plugs very firmly. Most important is for me it has no PCB what is useless but most this type adapters have it.
    Cons:
    None.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Works on Windows XP with drivers included. Included software is easy to use. Many capture cards have very buggy soft but this seems nice. You can use one channel per time or switch between them with constant time interval you select. For example every 1 sec...
    Cons:
If i use this card with other software, it is one input card, as expected but strangely it's always set on input 2, not 1.
