Very nice color and great price!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This is a blue sideways emitter in a very nice shade of deep blue. It is reasonably bright and build pretty solid. The emitter can somewhat be converter to a full 180 degrees pattern by cutting the "cone" off, but the die still throws quite a bit ...
    Cons:
No polarity markings and you need to know how to properly cut the leads. You also need to heat sink this emitter, so have some ...

Nice LED emitter at great value!

posted by Skywise on 08/02/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
The emitter is well build, the colors mix good and the light output is great. The star slug is quite thick and makes heat sink mounting easy.
    Cons:
Emitter is common anode and the pads are mislabeled. I knew it before I bought it, so no big issue, but keep it in mind for you...

    Cheap green 1W emitter

posted by Skywise on 06/24/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
The LED appears well made and came with the full leads still attached, so you need to know how to cut those properly. The color is a nice emerald green and is quite bright. It has a side emitter optic on it, but my Dremel took care of that. LED requires pro...
    Cons:
No polarity indication on the LED and you should know how to cut those leads.

    Cheap Red Laser Pointer

posted by Skywise on 05/13/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
This is your garden-variety red laser pointer. The build quality is quite good, paint finish is smooth and the button is responsive. The laser dot is well focused and reasonable bright for half a mW. Came with batteries installed.
    Cons:
No markings on the laser that it is only .5 mW - I guess if you live somewhere where customs will confiscate higher power laser...

    Nice LED motion activated light

posted by Skywise on 05/13/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Great build quality, light came in nice box and included an English manual. The light is reasonable bright (6 LEDs) and can be adjusted in multiple ways (brightness, time, light sensor). The motion sensor works well. The light takes AAA batteries and can b...
    Cons:
The light is a bit pricey in comparison, but that is reflected in the build quality. More LEDs would be nice.

posted by Skywise on 05/13/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
The mouse is nice and compact and came in a professional retail blister pack. Included where the mouse, the USB receiver stick and 2 AAA batteries. After inserting the batteries, the mouse is complete plug and play - just plug in the USB stick and it works...
    Cons:
The mouse lacked any form of manual and the build quality is a bit low. The mouse feels a bit cheap and changing the batteries ...

    Impressive, especially at this price!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
solid construction, the actual earphones appear to be made from aluminum. The cord is a good length and well made, the 3.5mm plug is nice and slim and should fit even most recessed plugs (i.e. iPod Touch). While overall slightly muddy without any EQ setting...

Cute little keychains - and its ALIVE!!!!

posted by Skywise on 03/05/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Cute, compact keychain. I got one with a pink lit and pink gel and one with a golden lit and clear gel with beads. The plants appear to have survived the trip from China and are looking alive. Will take one out and plant it in the Crystal Magic Soil (SKU 75...
    Cons:
No choice of color and Lucky Bamboo is not actually bamboo - its Dracaena sanderiana. I doubt that the plant can survive in the...

    Yay! Electronic Dice!

posted by Skywise on 02/27/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Larger then expected, but a good size to keep with your board games or RPG stuff. The dice feel solid and have bright red LEDS. The included AG13 batteries seem to be of decent quality and have lasted me so far. The dice beep when being 'rolled'.
    Cons:
While the dice feel solid, the build quality is a bit sketchy (but what do you expect at this price?). The 'tap' mechanism is j...
