    I like it - a LOT!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I ordered 3 of these knives because they were so cheap. I've been using them a lot. I have a lot of knives including folders which I often carry with me. However this knife is just the right size I can put it in my front pocket. The blade isn't made of ...
    Cons:
Blade not the best steel but still quite serviceable. Food sometimes gets caught in the openings in the blade.

    I like it

    Pros:
I really like this light. It's very bright but is dimmable with a half click. What I like most about it is the way it's built. The rubber straps that hold the light to the band is a great idea. It's very robust, holds its position and I don't worry abou...
    Cons:
There are a few cons however: - Reading from this light while perfectly possible is not optimal. Would be better if the beam ...

    Excellent.

    Pros:
I don't normally grant straight 5 stars but I really like this knife. It's very sharp, seems to be very good steel, is an excellent size, and just all around works well. In fact I think it's one of the nicer knives I've ever owned. I especially like how ...
    Cons:
Not sure that I have any. I hope that it really is carbon steel if so it take an edge very easily.

    Nice!

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
These are actually very nice binoculars. They are bushnell branded and come with complete english instructions and everything. - The build quality seems very good. They seem to have some kind of rubbery plastic outer shell. - I'm no expert but the optics ...
    Cons:
Not much really. The eye relief caps that twist out feel a bit cheap but I think they will work fine for a long time.

    Generally nice flashlight

posted by Slowbore on 07/22/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - Flashlight is very bright. - It has a very nice throw with good flood too. It's a very nice balance really. - The dim settings are actually quite nice for near work. - Good build quality.
    Cons:
    - Too many modes! Mode insanity! Lots of strobes etc. You can spend a lot of time just getting to the mode you want and by t...

    Reasonable little gizmo

posted by Slowbore on 07/22/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This is a neat little device really. Leave it anywhere there's light and you'll always have a flashlight ready to go. The light is not super bright like some of the fancy led lights here on DX but it is bright enough for some simple outdoor tasks. The on/o...
    Cons:
It's mostly plastic construction.. build quality is reasonable but not great I guess.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Quite happy with this unit: - two independent charging circuits. - seems to charge the batteries reliably. - the lights that indicate charge/charged are nicely done. - generally just works well.
    Cons:
    - Only real con I can think of is that there are springs on both sides of the batteries. This makes the contact really good bu...

    Nice scale.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
I couldn't put anything less than a 5 on the ratings because really this device does anything you need from this kind of scale. It's well built, seems quite accurate and just generally is easy to use and works well.
    Cons:
Well, none that I can think of.

    Very good for the price.

posted by Slowbore on 07/04/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This scope is very decent quality, similar to that of any entry level scope. It is branded 'tasco' and may in fact be a tasco scope. The parallax adjustment seems to work well and I noticed it was easy to focus it so there was no parallax errors. While ...
    Cons:
    - The AO adjustment gets a bit sloppy below 15 yards or so. It seems to be rubbing gently and no longer has that stiff in-flui...

    Wow, very nice!

    Pros:
I'm very impressed with this site. I think you'd pay a lot more for this in a local store. The build quality is excellent for the price. It works very well and is very accurate. I shot sub 1" groups with a springer air gun at 30 yards with it which...
    Cons:
Hmm, the dot is a bit on the large side making it hard to hit small targets at a distance, but my understanding is this site is...
