Best offer in this price class!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - Capacitive touchscreen, which is superior to the resistive touchscreens commonly found in this price class. - Good build quality, doesn't appear cheap. - Active factory support and community, assuring you of regular official and non-official firmware up...
    Cons:
    - Pretty heavy for its size. I didn't realize how much of a drawback this is, until I held the tablet IRL for the first time. ...

A very neat replacement housing for your PSP

posted by Squirrel61 on 10/31/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - Perfectly fitting. I only had to remove some debris from the power switch to make it move more smoothly. Everything else fitted like it was made by Sony themselves. - Nice design. You get something really special. - Comes with all parts you might need or ...
    Cons:
    - Not an easy one to replace. But that's not the fault of this housing, but of Sony's design. The PSP-1000 is way easier. Can't...

More power for your DS Lite

posted by Squirrel61 on 10/31/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - It's rated higher than the original battery (have no way to test it, though, other than just playing and comparing times) - The battery cover that comes with it is simply brilliant! Why didn't Nintendo come up with something like that? - It's very efforda...
    Cons:
    - The battery cover only comes in black

Perfect emergency battery for your Slim PSP

posted by Squirrel61 on 10/22/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - Very easy to use. Just pop in, charge and play. - Very convenient. If you brick your PSP on the road and have the necessary files on your memorystick, put it to service mode, unbrick and game on! - The white color distinguishes it nicely from normal batte...
    Cons:
    - Only con is that this is a battery designed for the Slim/PSP2000. That means, you won't be able to fit it in a Fat/PSP1000. E...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - Full replacement for the original switch. - Has the same dimensions and works the same way. - Way cheaper than replacing your DS or motherboard.

Perfect to unlock your SIM locked phone

posted by Squirrel61 on 10/22/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - It's cheap, cheaper than the usual software unlocking. - No risks involved. You install the i-SmartSim and it works or not (usually it does). You remove it and your phone is factory standard again. No risk of bricking, no warranty voiding. - It even works...
    Cons:
On some phones, usually the slim models, you have to cut a corner from the simcard, otherwise you might encounter difficulties ...

Necessary for everyone who does solders

posted by Squirrel61 on 10/22/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Wick is wick. And this is wick. In other words, it's doing what it should do in a pretty nice way. But usually wick's more expensive, this one's nicely priced. Even more, you'd have a hard job finding wick that's cheaper than this.
    Cons:
No cons, other than that it would be perfect if you wouldn't need it at all...

    Replacement for your broken door.

posted by Squirrel61 on 10/22/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Replaces the original door, which usually breaks when you drop your PSP. Perfect fit.
    Cons:
Might be hard to replace. The best is to take your PSP at least partly apart (remove faceplate and screen and loosen the two sc...

Perfect replacement for MS Duo slot

posted by Squirrel61 on 10/22/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Works like the original slot. The MS Duo fits well. No force needed to insert, locks correctly and doesn't pop out accidentally.
    Cons:
Hard to replace, unless you're used to fine soldering.

    Perfect replacement for broken nub

posted by Squirrel61 on 10/18/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Brings back life to your PSP when for some reason the nub isn't working anymore. Far cheaper than having your PSP repaired by Sony.
    Cons:
No cons. Cost is good, built quality is good so what can be said against it?
