Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Using this to cool down the chips in my retro gaming and computer collection. Perfect for SID chips in the C64. Also using this to cool down all the chips on the motherboard and other boards in the computer. They are so cheap so I am slapping them on every...
    Cons:
None that I could think of.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Have used this for several months and it works great. Have my phone and music with me all the time when working out at the gym. No problem getting to the most used buttons. Or to get the phone in/out of the holder. Not cold in the autumn.
    Cons:
Strap is a bit large, but maybe its needed to hold it in place.

    Pretty strong and low spread

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I like how the matte finish of the metal parts, and the rubber grip. The batteries fit in nice and snug. The box it comes in is also nice with a good fit in the foam. The beam has low spread, easily visible in dim rooms (or in lit rooms with a bit of dust)....
    Cons:
Nothing except that the rating sticker will fall of after some use. But the result is a less legal, but better looking laser pe...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Good build quality Think nice quality on the cable The buttons register well, and the lock works like it should. No flimsy movement. Light (could be a negative too) Connector fits tightly on my 400D. Great for long exposure shots. Place camera and use remot...
    Cons:
Flimsy cardboard packaging. Though good enough for shipping (kinda hard to break the remote)

    Pros:
Connectors for all standards in use today Good build quality, better than my last one Power adapter for 100 to 240V. Standard plug. Easy to replace the US power cable to a Europlug No driver needed for Vista, newer Linux distros or OSX (driver CD comes with...

Same quality as more expensive non-rechargeables

posted by TechCF on 05/05/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Cheap! Charges fast with the UltraFire SKU1236 charger Build quality is the same as the CR123 I buy at the store (Panasonic etc.) I get the same brightness in my flashlight as with the more expensive TrustFire batteries.
    Cons:
Poor marking on the battery. Could have had a bit more power in them, but they are rechargeable. If the UltraFire is 880mAh, th...

    Pros:
Lights matches at two feet distance (without coloring the head black) Melts plastic and stings on skin. Non-rechargeable batteries lasts a long time. Visible during daytime (indoor) if you have a normally dusty home.
    Cons:
The battery cap has a very coarse threading. The focus cap is very loose in its threading. Both where fixed with some very chea...

Great adapter for next to nothing

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Very good fit. Is secure in all the types of euro wall sockets I have (grounded, not grounded - old and new) Never seen these as cheap or simple anywhere else. The input side also have good contacts so chargers and power adaptors will keep in place and no...
    Cons:
One of the legs was bent to much, but with a little bending by my combination pliers and it worked great.
