Sturdy Torch, but not so good contact

posted by Tw15t3r on 07/30/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
The torch is pretty bright. Quite expected as it runs off 2 lithium 18650s. It also feels pretty solid, and looks good.
    Cons:
The contact in the tailcap is not very good, and shaking causes the torch to flicker, which changes the mode. Quite irritating....

    It's OK I Guess

posted by Tw15t3r on 04/02/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It works most of the time, and uses 2 AAA batteries (each unit) which are commonly available. The receiving unit has a threaded hole at the bottom to mount on to a lightstand, bracket, or tripod. There are channel options available if you need groups or som...
    Cons:
It won't work in cold conditions. I had trouble with it in Japan in -1C, and again in UK at around 5C. They won't work at all. ...

Cheap, but Quality a Little Wanting...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It's pretty cheap, and does the job. The square thing you see below is basically an adaptor. With it, this bracket mounts on a standard tripod or lightstand. Without it, it's a much bigger hole and (I think) it mounts on to the bigger lightstands or something.
    Cons:
The build quality isn't very good. The ball joint is difficult to move around even after loosening the screw (haven't tried app...

    Cheap! Good!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It's really cheap for a crystal case. It protects your NDS from bumps and accidental drops (which you shouldn't let happen!!!) Easy to fit on Nice tinge of blue to match my Blue NDS Lite
    Cons:
Well, the quality is good but not fantastic, but after long use (>1 year), it started to crack near the hinges where the pla...

    Strong, Compact, Powerful!

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This charger has a good quality feel to it. As can be seen from the pictures, it's smooth with a gloss finish, and it doesn't creak or anything like that when you squeeze it. The charger also is small and has good capacity. I've never used it for more than ...
    Cons:
Because of its high capacity, charging it takes a long time!

    Good Case for Good Price

posted by Tw15t3r on 10/23/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It's a silicone case that I've been using for over 3 years now, and it has a small crack, but that crack is not getting bigger thankfully. The material quality is good, and it fits over the iPod Touch nicely to protect it from scratches and small bumps.
    Cons:
Casing a little loose, but doesn't slide around. The cutting isn't so good. You can tell that it isn't top quality. Also, the r...

    Build Quality Could Be Better

posted by Tw15t3r on 10/23/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It's really cheap for a pack of 6! If you have cartridges for your NDS and don't wanna bring the entire original cartridge box, then this product is definitely for you. It doesn't feel too cheap, and all of the boxes are translucent (except the pink) to let...
    Cons:
You can tell it's cheap once you pick it up. The cases are tough to open (it may be a plus since the cartridge won't fall out t...

    It's cheap and good!

    Great!

posted by Tw15t3r on 05/31/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
It does the job, is sturdy, and most importantly, allows you to unscrew those blasted nintendo proprietary screws! Good price too!
    Cons:
There was small protruding plastic on the handle left over from its mold. That gave me a slight scratch till I filed it off. It...

    Works

posted by Tw15t3r on 05/31/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Novice  (still getting used to it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Well, it works like it says. For older phones, there's always this annoying message that tells you to insert the sim card or else you can't boot it up to the standby screen. With this card, that problem is solved!
    Cons:
I don't know if there are slightly different sim cards all around the world, but for the 3 that they sent me, one of the cards'...
