    Super value for this harp

posted by VinceInTX on 06/21/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
The C harp I bought is the standard design for a harmonica. It's a 10-hole diatonic (I think that's the word for it). It blows clean tones. The one I received (you might have different results, considering it was mass-produced) is actually better than a mad...
    Cons:
The item I received had a reed-plate screw that wasn't screwed down, causing a rattle. I disassembled the harp, put the screw ...

    Less than US$6 for a strap I couldn't find for $20

posted by VinceInTX on 07/11/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
My cheap axe came with a REALLY cheap strap. It was almost painful, and the buckle was broken. This Fender strap feels great, and was in good shape on arrival. As advertised, and no complaints! Even adjusts to 60", longer than I'll ever need! Great bar...
    Cons:
Any Cons would be just subjective opinions at this point. It works great. So why work to come up with something I don't like ab...

$3 strings. Who could ask for more than that?

posted by VinceInTX on 07/11/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Hey, for $3 I was expecting an install break. I very slowly tuned up to the right pitch, expecting that awful PING! that meant I wasted my money. Never happened. All 6 stings went on fine, and play nice. I bought these strings as spares, but my Boomers orde...
    Cons:
The problem with ALL strings is, you never really know when they'll break. When one goes, plan on changing the rest before long...

How did I ever live without this gadget??

posted by VinceInTX on 07/11/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Simple to use, right out of the box! Clip it onto the headstock, and turn it on. If you have an electric guitar, you don't even have to plug it in. This thing senses vibrations. Works great on both my electric and acoustic.
    Cons:
It's a little small, which makes the switch position labels hard to read. Otherwise, none.

    Works great!

posted by VinceInTX on 12/26/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Nearly identical to the OEM remote which came with my Wii console. It took a minute to introduce the remote to the console properly, then it worked perfectly. Includes the nunchuck controller and wriststrap.
    Cons:
The information sticker on the battery cover was in Chinese, and this remote did NOT come with a silicone sleeve.

    Cheap solution to Minor Problem

posted by VinceInTX on 10/14/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This product was purchased to deal with a faulty builtin soundcard on a replacement motherboard. The motherboard had good USB ports, though, so while waiting for a new motherboard, I decided to try this, instead of getting a sound card. It works exactly as...
    Cons:
Build quality looks questionable. Not color coded (green for output, red for microphone). No instructions.
