    Review for UltraFire A1 Cree Q5-WC 5-Mode 230-Lume

posted by Vines on 11/17/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Munkeh said it best with his comments below mine. This is a good little light. Does what I need it to do. Seems like I could keep it in my pocket all day and not know it's there. I plan on doing just that. It's very light weight. Does tail stand. The price ...

    Review for Ultra Fire 14500 3.6V 900mAh 2Pack

posted by Vines on 09/16/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
I gave this item all 5's since I really can't find anything wrong with it. It's an unprotected cell so use it with that in mind. Mine charged to 4.1 volts and I took it out of the charger at that point. I'm using mine in my C3 AA light and it works well.
    Cons:
No cons come to mind at this point. Maybe a con would be that this unit is unprotected?

posted by Vines on 09/06/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Got my batter ties today. Out of the package at 3.8 Volts but once charged I got 4.05 Volts. They fit my Surefire G2 with 6090 drop in very well. Priced affordable and seem identical in size to mt CR123 Duracell's.
    Cons:
No cons to mention. So far so good! I've only owned these for a few hours.

Review for 3V~18V Input 3W Cree Drop-in Module

posted by Vines on 08/30/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This is a great drop in light. I used this model for my SF G2 xenon light. It quickly transformed my G2 into a true thrower. At least 100 yards of true throw. I did take off the large spring for a true fit with no gap.
    Cons:
    No cons!

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Again I am impressed with DX on their "drop in" products. The 6090 is a great product. Just popped off the large spring and it fit in my SF G2 with no problem and 0 gap! Price, communication, shipping (for oversees) and quality are why I gave this...
    Cons:
Nada! Wish it was made and available in the US!

    Review for Cree R2 Drop-In

posted by Vines on 08/29/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
I gave all five ratings in all categories because of shipping, communication and application (fit and ease of use)were all above standard. This unit dropped in perfectly to my Cabelas XPG xenon light. No adjustments were made at all. Including the big spri...
    Cons:
I wish this unit was American made and available (stocked) in the US. In stock here versus an oversees shipment.
