    Good BA800 1700mAh battery

posted by Zeke.Frazer on 05/11/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Bought the battery to test if it'd fit into an Sony XPERIA S(LT26i), and it does. Battery provides a life in line with the original Sony XPERIA S 1700mAh battery. Results returned 1hr 50min on a 100% CPU test, which is the same as my original Sony XPERIA S ...
    Cons:
This battery does not provide battery temperature feedback to the OS on the XPERIA S(LT26) and I've seen this with other batter...

posted by Zeke.Frazer on 03/25/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
64GB SanDisk UHS-I with sequential write speed of ~10-11MB and read speed of ~18MB as seen using CrystalDiskMark, HDtune, ATTO benchmark with a builtin Notebook SDcard reader on Win7 64bit. Win7 sees a formatted exFAT size of ~60GB with a raw card size of ~...
    Cons:
None that I note at this time.

Good HDMI cable for mobile device

posted by Zeke.Frazer on 03/25/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Good 3 metre cable with quality to transport a 720p video with 6ch audio using a Sony XPERIA S(LT26i) Android phone. The cable has a small circumference, quite light, flexible and maintains signal quality.
    Cons:
Nothing that I noted during the few days I've been using it.

Good protection at a good price

posted by Zeke.Frazer on 03/13/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Don't use it much, but it's a very good fit and hungs the XPERIA S(LT26i) like it was a long lost friend. It quite hard to gently leaver the cover off when removing it.
    Cons:
Not going to make your phone look pretty, but does have the gun metal black look of the phone. No real cons I've noted in the s...

    Right speaker whine detracts

posted by Zeke.Frazer on 03/09/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Good volume and bass and a good spread across all frequency ranges
    Cons:
I've probably just got bad one as I have a high pitch whine in the right speaker that is always present when switched on and pa...

    XPERIA S Dock

posted by Zeke.Frazer on 03/07/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Works well to securely hold the Sony XPERIA S(LT26i). The MicroUSB flap is not a problem when swung out of the way and does not restrict a firm connection. Soft blue light on the top of the dock indicates power on.
    Cons:
Both the power button and the 3.5mm audio connection are restricted with no access when docked. You'll have to use the camera b...

    Fabulous

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Supports both audio and video on Dell U2410 24" 1920x1200 monitor using an Alienware M11xR1 Notebook as DisplayPort source. Picture quality is good with no artifacts or breakup. Two channel audio via U2410 monitor was clear with no distortion. Didn't t...
    Cons:
On my Alienware M11xR1 Notebook the DisplayPort connector could not be clipped in firmly. The connection remained lose and coul...

    Small with good read rate

posted by Zeke.Frazer on 12/09/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Small and light. Has a responsible sequential read rate of 23.4MB/s and sequential write of 5.7MB/s. Random Read rates at 22MB/s for 512K and 5.2MB/s at 4K are quite good too.
    Cons:
Random write speed is well down on other USB 8GB flash sticks. Could not be used with USB OTG when directly connected as it exc...

Small, pretty and good read speed

posted by Zeke.Frazer on 12/07/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Small, light and looks quite pretty. Fits firmly into connector. 8MB/s sequential read speed as noted in DX sales specs, may be down selling this product. Using an Android Sony XPERIA LT26i I benchmarked the flash drive at 14.6MB/s sequential read and on a ...
    Cons:
    Nothing really.
